Those of you who are getting your passport stamped with visitor visa, could you share your application, biometric, and PPR timeline as well please?
Applied for Visitor's Visa from Delhi VFS-
Date of Application: 7th Aug 2024
Biometrics done on: 13th Aug
Visa approval message on : 20th Aug
Passport submitted to VFS: 23rd Aug
Passport received at IRCC: 26th Aug
Passport dispatch message on: 19th Sept 2024
Passport yet to be received.
Hopefully in a day or two
Update: Passport received on 20th Sept. Visa valid till the validity of the Passport.

Yes I have valid US and UK visas. I guess maybe that's why.

Hopefully you should be getting the Passport dispatch message by next week.
But then again there is no set pattern to this.
A friend of mine submitted the Passport a day after me and got his passport back 7 days before me.
So hope you get the Passport back soon.
PS: I had already bought my tickets before I applied for the visa. So I did use the Webform to inform about my Date of travel.
I got a reply from the embassy after a week and got my passport back in 2 days after that.
So maybe this helps.
And later I realized that buying Air Tickets (non refundable) before the Passport is received adds unnecessary stress and tension.

The application didn’t specifically ask to attach UK visa so I didn’t attach
Same for financial documents. I checked yesterday, there’s just a space to add “other documents”.
However, an immediate family member has received Canadian visa twice without attaching financial proof documents. I’m confused.
Should I attach bank statements as proof of financial documents now using web form?

I had submitted a web form on Thursday stating it’s been over the number of processing days, and I have a US visa with no risk of overstaying in Canada.
I think the web form works!!!
