I’ve been told by immigration lawyers that if your previous visa is unexpired during time of travel, you can use that to travel even if you have a newer doc like 797 or i20.

About the proof of financial documents, it doesn’t specifically have an upload financial documents button. So where did you upload bank statement?

I have exact same application and biometrics date. Our PPR hasn’t come yet, so I will wait till Monday and then cancel travel. :(

Did the application specifically ask for Pan card? I don’t remember that being on the application.

Can you share the source of information saying Indian citizens are no longer allowed to visit Canada? Without a solid source, we don’t want to start a rumor.

Then no one would ever get a PPR unless processing time is 0. If they don’t care about travel dates why do they ask for it in the application.

Same here.. as soon as the page loads the progress bar shows completely full for a micro sec, and then goes back to blank. I read somewhere that was a pilot program and was working only for specific types of visas. Visitor visa wasn’t on that list I think.

Yes there’s an argument that processing time should be of when the applicant applied. In my case that was 51 days. Pragmatically, it’s exceeding that. Even with an extraordinarily simple case - having a valid US visa, and the purpose of visit being a cruise which docks at B.C. for a few hours...
