Just yesterday my application tracker showed closed with counterfoil updated on 17th February. This morning when I checked, the counterfoil updated is not there anymore and my background check is in progress again. Anyone know why that might happen?

I receieved the passport request. I have quick ques, while submitting for 2 way courier its asking below, my MIL already gave biometrics 3 years back so should I say yes or no as she didn't gave biometric this time.

Please ensure your Biometric Status is accurately updated in the web form. Cases of incorrect / short payment would be returned back without being processed. Such cases would not be eligible for refund of fees collected.

I said yes on my application and it is at IRCC. Better to book in-person drop in at VFS

my friend whose passport went to IRCC under processing on Jan 28th got dispatch msg today.

For me, my passport went to IRCC on 30th Jan, so hopefully i’ll get my counterfoil tomorrow and dispatch on monday.

We raised a web form to inquire about the status of stamping and we got update just now that they will send the passport shortly. But didn't get the tracking message.

Application submitted: Jan29th
Web form raised on: 11th feb
Replied on : 20th feb

I just got the dispatch message from VFS.

Passport submitted: 24th Jan
Update to portal: 13th Feb
Passport dispatch: 17th Feb

Congratulations. Please how can I track my application. I submitted my passport at the New York Vsf office . But I am yet to get any email acknowledgement that passport has been received . Please can u guide mi on how to check . Thank you .

UPDATE: I have got the counterfoil update and portal update for my passport application which was submitted at IRCC office under processing on 30th Jan.

Passport reached IRCC on 29th Jan. Gckey got updated today. Got my LOI.

Passport reached IRCC on 29th Jan. I received autogenerated email - "Your application status has changed". However there is no change in the status and still on "Submitted" State. Any idea what does it mean and when is the counterfoil is updated in ircc system?

Passport reached IRCC on Jan 24, got the ghost update on application today. Hopefully I'll soon receive the dispatch email.

I have a similar situation. I got ghost update today but my application is still in Submitted state. When did you receive your passport after the ghost update and did they update the counterfoil in gckey?
