Just one more question
Let’s suppose my father’s visa will expire in November, 2025. After that if i apply the visa for my father again, what are the chances whether i will get full validity or the same short term validity. What you suggest?

That's where I am right now and trying to find out if granting visa till validity still the norm. If it is, I am hopeful that chances of getting visa till passport validity should be high as my father had travelled once and returned within 6 months creating a travel history. But again, I have to accept the fact that there is a possibility he may not be again granted visa till full validity. I guess same would apply to you.

Ghost update on tracker today. Ircc received passport for visitor visa on 24 Dec. Does that mean I can expect it soon or this week? Anyone from around that date

Got dispatch message today. Reached Delhi on Dec 24
May I know how long it would take to get the passport at home (Chandigarh)

Same here there is no update yet. I had flight on 22th Jan now I rescheduled it already for Feb 5.

Is this super visa or simple visitor visa?

I received PPR for the visitor visa application for both of my parents on 5th December 2024. I sent both of passports via 2 way courier facility on 10th December. Both of passports received by IRCC office, New Delhi on 17th December. After so long i got review of eligibility Email from ircc for both of the applications on 13 January, 2025. After that one of passport which was my mother’s passport got dispatched on 15th January and delivered on 17th January. It has validity till the passport expiry which is 16/01/2034. But the main thing i just want to share and also know if any other person faced also. The matter is like i already mentioned that I received “Your eligibility has been reviewed” message for both of the applications and my mother passport received successfully. Apart from it on 15th January I received another similar mail regarding my father’s application once again like “Your eligibility has been reviewed”. At that time i was unaware about anything. I just assumed that it is just a verification. On 17th my father’s passport was also dispatched and I received this today evening. I was shocked after what i saw. The passport stamping done only till the validity till 30/11/2025 while passport is supposed to expire on 23/06/2034. I received trv for only 11 months validity. Please help me and suggest me what should i do now. Because it was a group application and my mother received full validity visa but my father received only for 11 months.
