You must submit your passport either in-person or mail it to the LA VAC. You cannot mail it directly to the LA visa office.

Yes I did see this and spoke to the CSC CVAC center. This can be done but they are not sure since it was an online application. Since it was not a paper application (look at this link:http://www.cic.gc.ca/submit), they asked to confirm with CIC first and if you look at the instructions to submit passport at http://www.cic.gc.ca/submit, it is inferred (look at the paragraph related to response to question 9) to send passports to the local consulate from where the visa was applied which would be new delhi in this case.
I believe you have done this in the past?
This has been done by many applicants.
You must send emails to both NDVO and the LA visa offices requesting them to allow you to submit your parents' passports to the LA VAC. You can then go ahead after you get an affirmative reply

Yes, get GCMS notes. It will help for any future visa applications
GCMS notes will provide more insight and details into the case processing so far. Yes, you can apply for these case notes while the application is in progress. Hopefully, you will get a TRV decision before you get these notes (4-5 weeks)

Received the PPR request for my spouse today after waiting for 10 weeks. Hopefully should get Approved !!
I hope everyone waiting for PPR should get approved soon. Good luck with it !
My follow up thread are-
1.Send 2 CSE but no response apart from automated reply
2.4 Gentle remainder emails to the High commission of Canada Delhi with same thread
3. Applied for GCMS notes

I applied for visit visa in behalf of my minor daughter on June 13 and no updates until now on whats going on. We missed our flight already coz when I applied for mine it only took 4-5days when they asked for my passport and tgey sent it back after 3-4 days. That was pretty quick and now Im wondering what's taking it so long for my daughter.
Pls any ideas?

Each application is different + processing times vary from visa office to visa office.
Which visa office have you applied to? Online or paper application?
