Visitor Visa for young nephew

I am a Canadian PR. I have applied visitor visa for my parents from India which was granted. I have my nephew in India who is 11 year old and i also wanted him to visit canada on tourist visa. Is it even possible to apply visa solely for my nephew as visa officer would certainly question what a kid will do with visitor visa?

It's certainly possible to apply. His parents should be the ones to submit the application on his behalf.

You would include an invitation letter and his parents can include a letter of explanation to state he's coming to visit you. You'd want to make sure you keep the trip a reasonable length and do it on a school break.

Both approval and refusal is possible. It will depend on his and his parents overall profile.
