And what documents shall I submit to make my case strong. Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you and your son travelled to other countries?
Do you have assets such as properties and money on the bank?

Yes, have been to Dubai, Singapore and Thailand for tourism.
Not much fixed assets but I have around 7-8 lacs in savings account, gold and a car.
My brother will be providing us accommodation and in Canada. Rest I'll take care on my own.

Honestly your chances are not great. CIC would not consider a 4 year old’s birthday party a reason to travel and you are unlikely to be able to travel so soon. Travelling with your daughter creates very littles ties to India and your salary is low when you compare it to what could be possible if you attempted to stay in Canada. You are expected to show you can pay for your own travel and that would use a good portion of your savings. Just for your information for your daughter to travel you will have to have full custody or permission of her father.

Thanks for your opinion. Appreciate it.

They are celebrating her birthday on a large scale. Will be a gathering of about 100-150 people in a banquet hall. Kids never celebrated birthday together so it will be the first time for them.
I can cover the expenses of the trip since I have around 8 lacs in savings and a fixed deposit of another two lacs.
I have a full custody of my child. I can show the divorce and custody orders.

Do you think applying alone will have higher chances?

Very hard to say. All you can do is apply and see what happens.

Travelling with your son is the weak point of this application. An invitation letter from your brother might help. Best of luck!

Thank you.
Can you advice on how best to apply. My brother is willing to provide an invitation letter. I'm planning to go for two weeks only. Do I need to provide a proper itenary for two weeks? What else should I include in the application to make it strong. Can you provide a comprehensive list? Thanks in advance
