Has anyone got refund on 1st application? When applied for a 2nd after Sept 7th???

i have 5 applications i had to apply twice and paid the agent approx $750 which should be expected to have a refund. Now the agent says IRCC is not refunding anything. Just want to make sure before i press him more ??

Applied on IRCC portal: 4th March
Biometrics Request: 5th March
Biometrics Completed: 9th March
BVL and PPR: 23rd March

Congratulations!! Where was your visa office? I’ve applied for the same on Feb 23rd biometrics completed Feb 28th, Mumbai VFS. Still no PPR request..

I am on closed WP. I applied for my spouse, open work permit by 26-Nov-2021. Medical and Biometric completed by 1st week of Dec 2021. No update after that. As per IRCC the processing time is 54 weeks. My WP ends on Dec 2022. How IRCC will deal in this case.

Meanwhile can I file visitor visa for my spouse from New IRCC portal. What will happen to the WP application, will they cancel it? Can anyone please clarify

A visitor visa and work permit are two different categories.

Can they effect each other ? In my humble opinion yes, because if you have applied for oper work permit than you apply for visitor visa, it really means that there is no way your spouse is there for travel, at all.

Thanks for the clarification. Based on IRCC timeline, it is beyond my WP expiry date. So in this case, can I withdraw my spouse WP application and process Visitor Visa in new portal

Hello guys, I recently came to Canada on work permit (Also PR application in progress) and applied for my parent's visit visa. My parent's gave biometrics this Monday and today I received message that their "eligibility review has started". One issue is my parents dropped their passport for UK visa on same day at UK VFS, and it might take 5 to 6 weeks over there. So was going through trends, it should take at least a month or two from now?

But in case, if they get PPR within say 2 or 3 weeks, I think it's possible to extend the PPR request beyond 30 days, right? My parents have a valid US B1/B2 visa, and few trips to US. I mention this explicitly as they asked it in the form and read sometime applications with US visa/travel history move fast (due to less scrutiny, not sure). So just trying to prepare for the case if PPR comes bit earlier.

In my case, I mentioned in the invitation letter that financial documents are available in additional documents. In additional documents, I created a cover page stating there was no dedicated place to upload documents. Also, highlighted split about the funds. In your case, probably you can have a cover letter in additional documents stating what all documents are available and put them below that letter.

Hi guys need some urgent help in reference to my post # 2384. So my parents visa is approved, just received the message 10 minutes back. But my parents passport is with UK VFS. What should I do, should I request extension of PPR by another month? As UK might take another 5 weeks.
