I was thinking of ordering GCMS notes as well. For pregnancy I just stated that she will be helping with the new born , also attend her grandson's birthday in May and meet her sons as it has been 3 yrs since she had met them. She has a job back home and property and investments as well. All of which was given as documents.
I guess we will wait for my delivery and provide the birth certificate and give the reason of just reuniting with family instead of help with newborn.

Is it possible not to get Biomertic? My mother got 2 weeks ago and already submitted but my Dad have not received it yet. They both came here in 2016 and at that time they did not do any biometric. I was charged with 2 biometric fee though this time.

biometric is not required when age is 79+ but i don’t think your mom will fall under that category, try contacting ircc if u r sure that u haven’t given previously (just go through the cover of her passport to c if barcode is there for biometric, maybe she had done it before n forgotten )

Same situation. In my case, same application for parents, father’s visa approved but mom’s is still pending. Has been over 2 weeks now. Please share if you have any updates or get any info on whats happening..

Hey guys my mother in law got the PPR but father in law did not. It has only been 2 days but just wanted to understand how long does it take. I need to book tickets for them together.

Hi everyone,
I applied for my parents visit visa twice in 2016-17 and it got rejected both times. Now i want to call my mom again in October to celebrate the birth of my child. The only difference is I had landed just a year ago at tht time and was applying for both my parents. This time i k applying just for my mom as I need her support with an older kid at home and we dont hv any family here. Is there any hope? Really appreciate ur help.

Hi guys I am applying for my parent's visit visa but there is no option/separate tab for financial documents. Not sure where to upload them. Should I include them in invitation letter itself? Or maybe in "other documents" in optional documents? I chose myself as sponsor. Apologies for the low quality image, was capturing details on video. Thanks

Also, one more question. I have I moved to Canada 4 weeks back on work permit, PR in processing. I have employment verification letter, 2 payslips but no bank statement yet but an official letter from Canadian Bank about my financial standing and my Indian bank statement of 3 month (has around 20,000 CAD cash). My parents have around 16,000 CAD of savings, father has pension every month and house in India at 220,000 CAD. They have valid US B1/B2 (As it is question in Canada application) and have visited US 3 times for few weeks in last 5 years. Where does my application stand, some people said Canada visit visa is erratic.

Hi all. I want to ask you guys something. So I applied my parent's visitor visa on April 2021 no reply, second applied on 8 feb 2022 but forgot to include the uci and submitted a withdrawal but not withdraw yet, third application with all correct info filed on 19 feb 2022 biometric got updated on same day no reply. Today my agent sent a screen shot saying that my father's application got withdraw that we applied on April 2021 but not for my mother. can anyone tell what does that mean cause their is no update on the new portal on the 19 feb 2022 application. really appreciate your reply.

Applied for my in-laws from Pakistan (outside Canada) - me and my wife became the sponsors. (we both are PR)

Applied January 24, 2022
Biometrics done and updated on the portal as at January 28, 2022
Eligibility Started from February 1st week (not sure exactly when)
PPR for mother in law March 10
PPR for father in law - not yet (hoping to get soon as all the documents i applied were combined eg combined bank statements with running balance of CAD25K for 4 months)

I did not attach my bank statements but attached our PR cards, Employment letter/salary certificate, utility bills etc

Hope will get father in law's visa soon..
