If someone want to get the visa stamping in 2 to 3 days ( afetr DM ), the newdelhi office have different procedure. However you have to justify the reason for early stamping.

what is the procedure, how to proceed with this kind of request....

pls share

I have sent my passport for Visa stamping to London Office since September, 9, its been over 5 weeks now and still the tracking on vfs office shows " is being processed at the Canada Visa Office in London". During that period i also recieved a CIC Email advising me to send my passport to Canada, to which i replied that i had already dispatched my passport to London as requested.

Tried to contact vfs, who in turn referred me to Canada Visa Office in London. There is no contact number, so i had to fill in the e-form, however, when i filled it a received an automatic reply that it was received that later on, a Postmaster Delivery Delayed message. Now:-

1) I am not sure if the e-form Email has gone thru.
2) It is taking an awful lot of time for the visa stamping, did anyone every take this long to stamp his/her visa (its been 37 days).

The more worrying things are that you dont know exactly with which person is your passport and secondly when exactly u will recieve it back.....
All you know is ur passport is some thousand kms away in some office drawer in london...

This PPR is a really nasty step in an otherwise very smooth and transparent PR procedure...

CIC shd do something to reduce this anxiety...

Hi Friends,

Need your valuable suggestions for my below queries.

1.I got my PPR on Oct24th-2014 & I need to send my passport to CPP-Ottawa, But now I am in India.
I informed CIC regarding this & requested them to provide instructions to get my visa stamped at CHC, New Delhi, India.
Awaiting their response. Did anyone had the same situation in recent past?
If so please let me know the time taken for the response from CIC.

2.My second query is regarding my passport validity. My passport is valid upto Jan2016.
If my passport got stamped on Jan2015, I will get my PR visa only for a year?
Generally for how many years a PR visa will be issue??...I mean initially for 6months/1year/3years??

Hi,

I got the PPR mail on November 1 & need to send my passport to CPP-Ottawa. since currently i am in India, I informed CIC regarding this & requested them to provide instructions to get my visa stamped at CHC, New Delhi.
In the Original mail they have asked me to get this done in next 30 days.

Since I have asked for location change for visa stamping and it may take 20 to 25 days to get the email approval from CPP-O. Will 30 days period be still hold true in this case? Or when they will send the approval mail for stamping at New Delhi, that email will have another time line?

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Tutu
