hi Iamroth,
I got PPR on 6th June.
I have send mail to CIC on same date for Visa stamping in India.
Waiting for reply.Update me in your list please.

When can we expect the reply? summer vacations are near.

The overall process of "everything" has been slow for past few weeks. Not sure if it is because of Summer or what. Even people who are sending their passport to Ottawa for visa stamping are waiting for more than 15 days. But just few weeks back it was only 7 days of waiting period.

Currently the average wait period of last few applicants is 15 days. But note that some applicants are waiting for more than 15 days.

So I went to the embassy today in Manila, no luck for me :( they don't accept walk ins even to drop off your passport. So no choicr but to wait, I guess.

What about transit to Ottawa? Keep that channel open, if you can.

I wonder if raaga got her passport back or not. May be she is in Bali sipping Pina colada.

Yes, im considering that option, I just have to talk to my rep. But we have to send a cancellation email to cpp ottawa right? I wonder how long will they reply again to confirm the cancellation.
Who knows, maybe she's back in Canada now enjoying the close-to-summer breeze. :D

so my representative sent an email again today to ottawa. If we will not be hearing from them this week,we'll send my passport in friday.

veronica is waiting for almost 27 days. One user named 'raaga' sent her passport without the reply from Ottawa. The VFS in India, said it was OK to send passport with PPR email. They also requested photographs of passport holders. In the end raaga received the email reply from Ottawa after 19 days. But the passport was sent already to New Delhi before that.

How I wish I was either in Bali or in Canada right now.
Was waiting for my PP to physically reach me however it's high time that I update the forum so here I go.
PP was printed with Visa and COPR and has been dispatched for my home address. Right now it is in transit and will reach me in couple of hours (6-10 hrs to be precise).

P.S. I still haven't looked at the visa and COPR with my own eyes so I'm still anxious since I'm a 'see it to believe it' kinda gal... So please sit tight, I'll share a detailed account of my experiment and my take on it.

Congrats! Finally it is over! How many days did it take them?

Thanks a ton, still anxious, until i hold my PP these jitters won't vanish.
25 days to be precise from the date I sent my PP and 11 days since CPC Ottawa's response to my change of visa office request email. (Talking calendar days, business days are far lesser :-) )

Raagaa, i am also waiting for my response since 26-May. Let us know when you receive your package.
Accordingly i will take a decision.

I am in india and if you say so, will submit my PP to VFS.

Let us know.
Cheers

Hi Ashra,

I had submitted my PP with VFS after doing the due diligence and thorough research. If you think that you have done yours and secured all your ends then submission of PP with VFS is a good idea. Or else I suggest you wait for CPC's email directing you to CHC ND.
By due diligence I mean:
Waited for a 2-3 business days after you sent an email to CPC on your PP Request.
Called or visited VFS Global's Canada section
Written to CHC ND or called may be?
