Hi Ashra,

I had submitted my PP with VFS after doing the due diligence and thorough research. If you think that you have done yours and secured all your ends then submission of PP with VFS is a good idea. Or else I suggest you wait for CPC's email directing you to CHC ND.
By due diligence I mean:
Waited for a 2-3 business days after you sent an email to CPC on your PP Request.
Called or visited VFS Global's Canada section
Written to CHC ND or called may be?

I think i will wait till Monday .. Will complete 3 weeks .. And then will take a decision .. By then you will also receive your package so i will have all info required to take a decision.

Hope i get my response before MONDAY :)

Thanks for your detailed response

Cheers

*** Update on Visa & COPR ***

Just received PP with immigrant visa stamp & Confirmation of Permanent Residence Status letter aka COPR.

Had submitted PP without a response from CPC O on change of visa office. It took 25 calendar days to get the PP back from CHC ND. The delay could have occurred due to current slow down of processing due to overload of pending cases somewhere in the system (PR Cards) may be.
Anyhow, like I always say, All's well that ends well... Finally I am breathing without any anxiety. This definitely is a feeling of sheer euphoria, today every moment of killer wait seems worthwhile :-)
All the best to those who are awaiting a news from CPC O. Will be active on this forum, also once I land in Toronto, I'll pen down my experience with the overall procedure.

yes it is normal. These days they do not ask for Biodata form. It is included in the Medical form (your doctor fills it out, that is why you never see it).

So guys, finally, I just received that magical email from cpc ottawa to print my visa here in Manila. I need to submit my passport, biodata form, and 2pcs photos to Manila embassy thru a local vfs. Another waiting game again, but it's getting close.
Ashra, u still have 2days this week, so this is still "The Week"for you too. Goodluck. :)

Timeline:
PPr request: May 7,2014
request sent for change in visa office: May 14,2014
Reply from cpp received: June 11,2014
Goodluck to the rest who are waiting. We are almost there. :)

Congrats Veronica! After long wait, the reply came.

It seems like same as me at Singapore (Passport, Appendix A, 2 photos).

Don't forget to ask them how long it takes to return :)

Could you pls tell me what documents I will need to submit to VFS and is there any fee payment required.
