Just checked VAC on line tracking and saw the update that passports are ready for collection! It is super fast, only 2 business days!

Going to collect in person tomorrow morning!

So I emailed ottawa today, asking if they receive my representative's request of printing my visa in Canadian embassy Manila. Let's see if they will reply to me, last time I emailed them for any updates on my status b4 I got ppr, they replied to me in less than 24hrs.i hope I have the same luck on this one.

Hopefully they will reply to your request soon. Have you thought of any Plan 'B'?

Thanks iamroth, yeah, VAC Beijing is very fast. Last time it only took it one day to process my work permit. Hope no major errors in the COPR and can do the landing soon.

Guys finally, I received Email confirmation from Ottawa!

After we already talked to a person who is flying to Toronto in 5 days and made arrangements, now the email comes!!!

Anyways, I am going to follow-through this email and going to submit my passport to Local VFS (they handle all our passport on behalf of Canadian High Commission, Singapore).

Passport Request received: 13th May 2014
Visa Office Change request: 14th May 2014
Reply received from Ottawa: 27th May 2014

After we already talked to a person who is flying to Toronto in 5 days and made arrangements, now the email comes!!!

No wonder it took them 2 weeks to send this email. The email is almost 5 pages long! It has information about all those countries that must submit to Singapore CHC (for example: Bangladesh, Brunei, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar etc).

They asked to submit 2 photographs + Appendix A (attached with email). And this instruction is only required for Singapore CHC. Seems like different High Commissions have different requirements.

Also again 60 days given from today to submit passport.

I had the feeling that I was the only one who left behind......By the way, it would have been my last day of waiting anyway, because I was planning to send my PP to Ottawa. I was even pondering what should I write to cancel my request
SIGH! Tomorrow I am sending my docs to Bucharest.
P.S They gave me 30 days, and they wanted biodata form, RPRF receipt and 2 photos

that is such a wonderful news. I was thinking about your case 10 minutes ago, how you are still waiting for almost 4 weeks. It seemed unfair, as others who emailed way after you...but got reply so quickly...while you were left behind.

But at the end, they replied. So CIC prevailed. Now at least you can have a good night's sleep tonight
