visa stamping at other office

It seems like they had left some requests to pile up before dealing with them .....It is all learning curve for those of us who are trying to understand how CIC works

True. Surprising enough my email says that it is a computer generated email thus no signature required.
I mean seriously, this was a matter worth solving over a just a mouse click, yet it took them almost 18 days to "CLICK".
Glad that soon it'll all be over and we'll progress to another rat race...

Maybe it does depend on the office, I have been told that I MUST wait for a reply from CPC-O....But in Raaga's case she got green light. It's up to you Maybe you have to give them a call and ask them yourself

Received the Ready for Visa from CPC Ottawa.
Updating for the purpose of maintaining the excel sheet, to track the timelines.
I did not wait for the email response and sent my PP to CHC NEw Delhi after consulting VFS Global.
This current email response gives me additional 45 days from today to submit my passport.

Raagaa, please advice how to proceed, should i wait for response from Ottawa or can i submit my PP before that as well.??
Please guide me

Hi Ashra,

I would suggest that you wait for a couple of days, I am yet to lay my hands on my PP & COPR. My experiment is yet to be finished on a positive note.
Meanwhile, I recommend visiting or calling a nearest VAC of VFS Canada.
Check with them if they'll accept PP with a copy of ready for visa email.
And whatever you decide to do please don't forget to include 2 PP size photographs. Mine got delayed because I didn't know that the photos were required.
You could also try emailing CHC New Delhi, they respond in 2 business days.
Rest is up to you, in any case CPC O gives you 45 additional days after they respond, so don't worry you'll have plenty of time

Don't worry it'll work out, like your signature says almost there! Hang in there, I'll keep you posted, my PP should be back in couple of days. That should get things in perspective for some of us.

They told me it will take 1 month, and when it is ready to collect they will send a SMS on my phone.

It depends on office to office, normally CHC New Delhi processes the application in one week(Door - Door).

Thats what i was saying, max they take 3 days to print. The extra time is for shipping(Door - Door)

I have no idea! But that is the Singapore CHC timeline. Even the email I received from CPC-Ottawa said "Do not query about your passport before 1 month has passed". Also the person who took my passport said, it would take around 1 month.

I guess Singapore CHC is a busy consulate. They handle PR applications (and other) from citizens of 9-10 countries in Asia.
