visa stamping at other office

Thanks KaranJ. Just now checked the status, it says that the processed passport has been dispatched from Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI on 13/05/2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. I will check with local VFS center tomorrow. Thanks.

I couldn't wait, and I made another call to CIC. Talked to different agent. He said, that he can't verify if my request has been recorded. And it might take weeks, months, or longer....
Actually he made me feel worse. And he was like in a hurry to hang up....
I have already sent 3 reminders of my request, made two phone calls.....
But if I don't get response by early next week I will send my passport to Ottawa....
P.S Don't call CIC, most of the agents won't help you, at least those two I spoke with

If you dont mind can I know the vfs office you submitted your passports to.

I would say patience is the key. There is no point in following up so many times. It will not expedite your process. Also sending the passport to Ottawa will just delay or complicate the things. I know it is difficult to wait but just hang in there its almost coming.

CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca ....I received not only automated acknowledgement, but because I am using email client program, I even got "your email was read on.." notification. So, not only my email has been received, but it has been displayed too...Well, 3 out of 4 ;D

You never know sometimes too much follow ups also delay things. I am sure u will not like it to happen. You are well under normal timeline. So just relax and enjoy the time since you know it is approved. Just trying to make u patient. Hope u dnt mind.

No news from CIC yet. Finally spoke to a VFS Canada agent, explained him my situation. According to him, it is absolutely fine to submit passport for stamping with VFS Canada center with only a printout of PP Request email and documents mentioned in that email (if any).

So he meant, we can just send our passport and the ppr email from cpp? No need of a letter from cpp indicating transfer of visa office? I just sent a request for mine to be stamped in the Philippines.

I have been waiting for 12 days. Some hear back within a week, other wait longer ...
