I am expecting ppr soon and we all are in the same situation.i m frm india.

How many of you have sent request for office change and how many of you got reply from CIC.

I think only 3 got Reply them?

Is it good to send request for office chage?

If you don't mind the wait then its okay. But if you can send your passport to Ottawa and get it back in India through a friend/relative in Canada, I believe that would be a better option.

Thanks Wessless, However i have another challange. I have job offer and everything to go but recently we came to know that my wife is expecting with twins.

Now our doctor is not suggesting her to travel. I don't know what are our options:
- Should i travel alone and let my wife come with my kids, but i believe by that time her PR will expire.
- Or should i try asking cic ? We are happy as well as confused.

SINGHQOG firstly congrats on the twins. Bro you should really try to have your chirdren in Canada...basis is Citizenship. Better to be born Canadian than naturalized as a Canadian which due to different rules for naturalized Citizens can lead to Citizenship being revoked and whatever other stuff. If I was in your shoes and it was healthy and safe for my wife to travel, I would take the chance. If its not safe then its a no no for sure. All the best and hope you make the best decision given the circumstances.

TO be on safer side during your wife's travels. you can book business class tickets. many airlines now offer full flat seats. that should not cause much harm.

I got e-mail today to submit passports at a local office. Relieved. Though it came from an employee e-mail id. I hope its not an issue..!

Just got the mail from cic to submit my wife's passport at Delhi. I am currently in Vancouver but my wife is in India. But the mail is generic mail and shows my details not my wife's is this fine?

I am in also going to be in similar situation for VISA stamping.

I am currently in Canada (principle applicant on PR) but my wife is back in India. Is it possible to get VISA stamp for her in India and I do my processing in Ottawa?

Also, I am trying arrange one of my friend to bring my wife's passport who is expecting to travel to Canada, but Is it legal for him to do so? I read somewhere in forum that an authorized person can take it, but I was wondering what is definition of authorized person? I mean how to make him authorized? any form need to be filled or notary or something else?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
