visa stamping at other office

Guys,

I received a message that my PP has been processed and is dispatched from New-Delhi to my local VFS office (I opted for in-person collection at the VFS office instead of courier).

Waiting for that final message that PP has reached local VFS, hopefully today. If so I will collect the PP tomorrow.

Hi friends

In ppr mail my door number is wrongly mentioned. While sending vo change mail I have mentioned about this change and request them to update. I send it to the I'd which I got ppr mail.

Is that enough or any other mail id is there for address changes?

Note: in ecas the mentioned the right address..

Collected PP with COPR from VFS office today They have given 8 months of visa time to enter Canada.

People usually get 1 yr visa from the date of medicals.

Just checked my pp status on vfs site.it says your passport has been couriered from canada visa application centre..just wanted to know that sometimes they write processed pp but on. mIne its written only passport..what does that mean now

having the same problem. My wife is in canada and she included me in her application for PR. Our Application is being process in Ottawa. Since she included me to her application, all of may documents are requested to sent in ottawa. In this case, i cannot send my passport in Ottawa since it is illegal to send passport via courier. So how can they stamp my passport for visa? It is possible to send my passport in the Canadian Embassy near me for passport stamping?

Then you should get more than 8 months visa right?...

I did my medicals on earlier in 2014 so its correct as I got the stamping valid for 8 months.

You have to email CIC and ask them to send you a Passport request email specially made for your current country's Canadian High Commission.

Read the passport request email you got, you will find a paragraph that says "notify us, if your family member cannot send passport to Canada".

Also browse, last few pages, to find an example of request.

I had sent the mail to CIC 40 days before to change the Visa office to New Delhi as I am in India but still I didnt got any reply ..

So could you please advise whether its normal or some issue in changing the office

Hi PRBK2014,

I would suggest you to send a reminder email to acknowledge your VO change, if you have not sent one earlier.

I got my PPR VO change after 35 days. It seems CIC has slowed this process now. I would suggest you wait a bit more time. When you send your reminder email add the word 'Urgent' in the subject line. This was actually suggested by a CIC agent when I called them after 30 days. Note: CIC office did not had any information of the application as they are with the Ottawa VO.

Hi, I received the passport request email last night.

I am residing in Alberta but my husband is in Malaysia now. I send an email to CIC this morning to request visa stamping in another office. After reading all posts here, I am thinking to ask my husband to send his passport to me, so I can send our passports to Ottawa together. I think it is the easier way.

Is it okay to change my mind after sending the email to CIC, should I send another email to CIC and tell them.
