Hey there, i am a Pakistani Citizen, who is a resident of Qatar for 20+ years, and currently will be going for graduate school in the USA, at a T100 university.
I had applied for a Tourist visa 2 weeks ago and i just got my refusal today, and i cannot seem to understand what did i miss or do wrong.
"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• You have significant family ties in Canada.
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
• Your immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence."
Some points to consider
- I am aware that the close family ties could have been an issue from the very beginning as my uncle, and cousins are Canadian citizens.
- And my purpose of visit was to attend my Cousin Sister's wedding.
I had provided the following documents:
(((.
Can anyone please guide me on how to deal with the 3 rejection points i mentioned above, and what more can i do.
