Dear Jeena

You should not be worried. as they told you that they will correct their mistake and they will return them back at the earliest.

Jeena,

Perfectly right.... nothing to worry they musttv not updated their internal records..
they will never reject be sure about that.... its just that there is some correction
which has to be made from their end... i discussed this with my friends
this is what they had to say..... please don get worried......
:)

Check whether your PP numbers have been printed properly or not! For us on my son's visa a single digit from his PP number was missing, if we wouldn't have cross checked digit-by-digit, it would have gone unnoticed! Luckily, I found the mistake and mail the scanned copy to CHC, they told us to send back PPs & COPR of the primary applicant & dependant (my son, for whom the correction was to be made).

We received back the PPs & COPRs documents in 40 days time... but had to do a regular follow-up by mails, as a last resort I sent them the scanned copy of our airtickets, to which the CHC responded immediately and sent back the PPs & COPR documents with the necessary corrections in a week's time.

My status changed to Decision Made on May 3rd and they sent the stamped passports, COPR and original experience certificates and IELTS document on May 4th. Yesterday I mean on May 5th I received a call from Newdelhi immigration section asking me to return all the documents along with stamped passport back as there is some correction to be made in them. I checked all the documents for any errors, unfortunately I couldnt find any. Anyway, I have sent everything back today.
Has this happened to any one? Is it any kind of rejection?

Jeena

I hope you kept copies of all the documents you sent back? Just in case the unexpected happens and you need to sue them.

All the best...

Unfortunately I ddnt take a copy of the documents.

::)
Sorry to hear this from you...

I don't want to make you feel bad... but before submitting the original make sure why they called it back

For my wife and few of her friends , their passport was stamped with US H1 visa.. the embassy called back for the Passport saying that they have to make some corrections before leaving India . When they returned PP there were stamp on the visa "cancelled without prejudice " . But two of them were lucky that they were not able to submit it back and they went to US.

So make sure they are calling it back for the reason they specified. Sorry if i have made you confusing... but just the fact i have faced.

Hi Jeena,

Any updates so far??
Also as written by someone above, If you have air tickets and send chc the scanned copies it will most definately prompt them to act fast on your case. If not then your factors for legal action against the chc are very strong. ( But i hope things get resolved for you without this commotion).

Best of luck friend,

Regards,
Ramon

No updates so far. Our senior member Qorax has told me that nothing to worry and I may receive PP within two weeks. I shall wait for two weeks and see if they replies, if not I will send a mail as u said before.
Thanks,
Jeena

Hi jeena,

Would you mind sharing the telephone number you got the call from?

Did you ask the caller's name? Indian? Canadian?

Did you ask expected timeline to get your PP and COPR back?

Best wishes,

Number was +911141782000
He is an indian, hindi speaking. It was not my VO. My VO is a lady. I asked him when i can get it back, then he askd when r planning to leave. When I replied by June end he said will it asap.

Yes, thats NDVO telephone number, meaning it was genuinly from NDVO. Please stay positive. There must be some error. VO staff are not trained to tell lies. In fact lot of emphasis is given to values and ethics. Our best wishes are with you.

Cheers..
