First of all, thanks to ALLAH for helping me to become PR of canada; dream of a lifetime .

Pippin: one and only canadian by born who had been very helpful and kind to me and others. back in july 2010, She is the first one who called CIC and found out only 1 set of documents was required by CIC. back then, this simple thing was a big issue to new applicants like us. Congratulations Dr. Hasib. Wonderful news! I am so pleased for you.
I also applied in Oct 2010 and got 1st response in Feb 2011. My application was sent to Buffalo visa office.
I am not sure how long it will take now. I have not heard any thing after that.

Is any body aware of time frame?
