This may be true. I know at least 5 people in my home country whose eligibity review started in July and Aug but didn’t get AIP, and eventually received refusal. Bec usually, you get AIP immediately after the reviewing elig update on gckey.
Which country? SDS or Non SDS ?

Hey guys, this is just a wild guess but I think they might be releasing all the pending refusals from feb/ March because they’ll release the approvals soon as the new travel exemption for students will be effective on Oct 20th
This make no sense. Why would they hold the refusals for months. May be they have decided to get less number of students this year or there is a change of policy.

You have a degree in Engineering
You have experience in Customer Service/Banking
You apply for Wireless Networking Undergrad Diploma program
You switch to Wireless Networking Postgrad (Still not relevant to your background) Refused twice
Now you want to switch to business? Your chances look very bleak

If I were you I would apply for an Engineering Master's. Otherwise I you have a very very low chance

you can't switch your program because this is what they see that if you really trying to be consistent in your studies.

For better or for worse, visa officers do not like field of study change and especially career change as motivation to study

I changed from computer science to business. I got AIP. Fingers crossed for stage 2
By changing course, your stage 1 eligibility will become invalid. Since they will review your file all over again because of such change in studies.

It must be related to IT, rather you have more idea about your discipline. So I will suggest that you must narrow down different courses offered by your different institutions and then see all the subjects which come under those and compare them and choose the one which resembles your previous studies.

Is it advisable to change the course related to our majors after rejection because that might give a strong reason again to reject. As immigration officials check the reason for previous refusal and if they find out the change of course they might point out that we are sticking with our decision and our sole intent is to get pr.
