It must be related to IT, rather you have more idea about your discipline. So I will suggest that you must narrow down different courses offered by your different institutions and then see all the subjects which come under those and compare them and choose the one which resembles your previous studies.

Is it advisable to change the course related to our majors after rejection because that might give a strong reason again to reject. As immigration officials check the reason for previous refusal and if they find out the change of course they might point out that we are sticking with our decision and our sole intent is to get pr.
It's really going to be quite tricky that's why it's always advisable to choose your course wisely that shouldn't contradict with your earlier educational track. Still through a well written SOP, you can better justify your choices or any change you trying to make.
