I cleaned up the Vienna spreadsheet a bit: sorted it by processing stage, added automatic colouring and cleaned up the calculated columns.

Should be easier to use now.

Hey, thanks for your work!

I am sure I was in that spreadsheet, now can't find myself. Maybe I am wrong :-[ Since the spreadsheet is protected, could you add my data?

It looks really discouraging now, since it seems only people that applied in 2013 landed, and I know that a lot of people, like me, applied in early 2014 and landed already :(

AFAIK the spreadsheet isn't protected ... anybody with the URL should be able to add themselves. Also, I didn't remove anybody though, perhaps someone else removed you? :(

BTW, should people who were processed in Ottawa instead of Vienna be added to this spreadsheet or have a comment or something like that?

I'll add your info.

Hiya,
I am Canadian and my fiancé is Hungarian we have a 6month old daughter. We are living in London and have applied for me to sponsor him via family class common law - we applied through London but since he is Hungarian it has been sent to Vienna.
We applied on 5th February and got our AOR on 2nd April and I have been approved to sponcer him on 23rd of April.
It's gone to Vienna for further consideration.
I can't seem to figured out from the spreadsheet how long it is averaging for him to get his approval and visa now?
On cic website it says 30 months?? Surely this can't be right?
Sorry I haven't looked through past posts to see if my answers are there

Sorry, I tried to add myself, and it didn't let me. I didn't say you erased me, I probably forgot to add myself in the first place (short term memory gone :-[ ) Thanks for adding me. Now that I try it allows me to edit. Weird ???

I was processed in Vienna, only the last part was in Ottawa (after PPR), because I was in Canada already and chose to finish processing in Ottawa, so most of the application was processed in Vienna, so I think I should be in this one...

Well done maartenvg!

@spaceexp, wow interesting case you had! So if I understand it correctly, it first went to Mississauga, then Vienna and then to Ottawa?

Yes, but the last part (Ottawa) was my choice. If you are already in Canada when they send you PPR, you can choose to have it finalized in Ottawa. I chose that because it seemed normal (closer for sending), but it turned out to be bad, because they first transferred my whole file from Vienna to Ottawa (that's what our MP told us), then they made a mistake and sent me a CoPR with mistakes, so it took way longer to finalize it all.

@spaceexp you landed on the same day you received your pps?

On my CoRP I says to make appointment with CIC. If I am not able to do that then to go to the border and do landing.
Just call CIC and they told me the waiting time is 3 weeks just to hear back from CIC.

I was already in Canada as s visitor, and luckily my husband was not working that day when I received my CoPR, so we decided to go straight to the border. I didn't want to make an appointment with CIC since the wait time was about a month, and because of CIC's mistake it took 3 months from to get a proper CoPR. The border was a better choice, and didn't take long at all.

Btw,CoPR gives you options, appointment or border. None has a priority, most applicants choose border landing.

Hey Krrrsta - According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp, Vienna is currently 17 months for the second phase (after the sponsorship approval). That means 80% of all cases are dealt with in 17 months. The more straightforward your case is, the faster it will be processed. Good luck!

I have added myself to the spreadsheet.

In skimming through this thread, I saw that some people the Vienna Office does not provide an AOR, while some say it does. Do we have an actual answer to that question or is again a case of lack of consistency by CIC?

Hello,

anyone any news from Vienna lately. It is so quiet here...
