Has anyone sent their passport through VAC and if so how long did it take to come back :) thanks

Unfortunately, you cann't send your passport through VAC in Belgrade, they don't provide this kind of service, although on their website they say they do. :-\

Really?! What the f...?! They are unbelievable! Because nada3 husband went there in person maybe 2 weeks ago, and they told him that they DO NOT provide this service for visas for permanent residents! Now they told you they do... I am confused. >:(

They said the same to me when I was there but I think that refers only to temporary resident visas. Did he explain it was a PR application?

What a waste of the last 3 months....we just received an email from vienna requesting another medical. They knew it was expired when they requested a new police certificate back in january. When i saw it was an email from vienna i thought it would be a PPR like everyone else this week. So much for a Good Friday :( now i have to tell my wife she has to go redo her medical :(

Dear Milan, Happy Easter

I know how you feel my friend. Our medical has also expired in January and I was puzzled that they only requested the PC and some other docs and not the medical...
Like you now, I wonder if any day now instead of PPR we should receive another medical request so to set us back another couple of months....
Feeling bad for you , and maybe already for us too :)

Have a happy Easter with your loved ones :)

My husband asked over the phone if he can send the passport through them for a PR visa, they said no, only for the temporary visas. Than I checked their website where it says they provide passport service, but no mention of any details. So I told him to go there in person, maybe he spoke to someone who didn't know all the facts. So he went, and again they said they only send passports for TRV's and work visas, as those go to a different department. So they told him to send by DHL or registered mail. He decided to go in person to Vienna.
Also the agency that has the shuttle for Vienna can do a passport drop off / pick up for a fee. It will be a few days but that is another option:

Thanks for the info. In the email they sent for PPR did they mention you can go in person? Ive seen so many different versions of PPR's that in some they just say to send it by post somehow.

Happy Easter to all!!! Hristos Voskrse!!! :)
