Yaay!!! So much good news within the last few weeks =D
Wish i can say the same for myself lol (they're making me redo the police clearance because I sent in the 'wrong' one... oy)

It's good that they are moving forward finally, hopefully everyone on the forum who's been waiting over a year will be up next. Make sure to keep in contact guys and gals!!! So happy for everyone that's at the end of their journey and good luck to those still waiting.

Ooh, and congrats to everyone who had kiddos recently too!

Angie

:)) thanks :-*

Question, i want to send a case specific inq. And in there birth cert of our daughter, but there are two types of birth cert, a small card size and a big letter size one
Does it matter which one or no?
Thanksss

The long form birth certificate is best as it is more detailed with the name of the parents, etc. I would photocopy that one.

Hallo everybody,

I am not present here all the time, but occasionally I read the answers
I congrats to all that have good news, and I wish we all have good news in next week.

I have a question,if somebody can answer me.

My country is visa not exempt.so I need visa for USA,that I dont have. I am currently in Canada,i applied for PR outland,so if I finally get my PR here, can I go to nearest USA border and do that so called "flagpole"?
or I must go back to my country(Serbia)and come again to lend.
and when they ask me for PPR,do I need to send my passport from here in Vienna,by registered mail?or I can finish everything here in local CIC office, since I am here in Canada?

best wishes to all

You have to send your passport to vienna. There isn't anything you can really do from canada. And i think you will have to go back...imagine you send your passport from canada, its in vienna and you cant go anywhere in case your passport gets lost in transit what can you do then? I remember this question being asked before and they mail you your passport to your address in serbia. If it were visa exempt then someone could fedex your copr and flagpole it but again its taking a risk.

Hi madam-m

As Milan said you must send your passport and of course take the risk of your passport being lost or sent back to a wrong address from Vienna.
But in case that you do decide to send it make sure that it is by a special courier delivery with pickup and return to you.
If this is your option then yes you can flagpole by simply walking out from the Canada border towards US and re enter Canada. You do not have to enter the USA.

Regards

Tom

Hello All, first of all accept my Congratulation to all those who received positive responses in the last one or two weeks. I am happy for your and wishing you all the best.
I had requested GCMS information and summary is as below;
GSCM notes: Last updated 25/02/2014
Security: passed
Criminality: Passed
Adaptability: Passed
Eligibility: Passed
First Medial: Passed
Second Medial: not showing any result so far (eMedial report sent on January 28, 2014)
Nothing mentioned about the interview that took place in second week of January 2014.
In how much time Regional medical office (I guess London) will assess and send its report to Vienna?

Hi JHkhan,
first, thank you for your kind words.
It's hard to say what to expect on the waiting time after medical and doc request. There were people here who received the COPR after 1 month, and in our case it took 10 weeks. So there is no clear pattern, I guess as many people said, it depends on the visa officer. Your GCMS notes are showing everything positive so I think it's just a matter of time. I know how waiting this long sucks and how frustrating it is, but it will come soon.
Stay positive and good luck.

Hi Nada, Thanks a lot. Well, acceptance of your application really gave me more hope. And my new hope is that it is matter of no more than two weeks-coming week or next ! :)

Hi everybody I am sorry I didn't come online for a long while now, i've been busy and really upset about my own life. Anyways I came to a decision I won't go to Canada and I want to get divorced now.... My trust and hope and love is completely gone and my heart says don't go.
So does anyone have an idea how can I get divorced? Or where to find the proper information?
I am hoping Julius will be good enough to let me go just simply without an argument... We had more than enough arguments in the last one and a half year...
Can I withdraw my application in Vienna? I will email them at least....

I hope you are all doing well and your process is going further and you will all reach Canada as soon as possible.

Hugs: Csilla

OH NOOOOO :( I'm so sorry to hear that :( I was kinda hoping that you were just busy with life and your 2 little ones and not having serious problems. I was also kinda hoping to meet up with you once in Vancouver :( As far as getting a divorce goes, you need to do it under the laws of your own state but it is not necessary to present Vienna with a finalized divorce in order to cancel the procedure and withdraw the application.

For what is worth, I hope that divorce would be your last resort and you can work thing out but if you're already passed that stage, I truly wish you good luck and success where ever you are ;)

Hi Avissa, thank you for your understanding words.
I passed that certain stage, so I do want to get divorced.
Our marriage is not recognized in Hungary, only in BC. So I don't know where to go or how to start it. :(
Or do I have to wait until he goes in and applies for divorce? i hope not... :(
Wishing you the bests!
