You didn't get an e-mail from Vienna at all when they received your application? We got an e-mail confirming they received it. It contained an application number starting with an "F" and that is what we used in all our correspondence. Not sure how to go about it if you don't have any numbers, that could be the reason they did not respond to you.

Hi, thanks for the reply.. we got a file number from Vienna starting with F00... however from what I can see to be able to apply for notes on your application online you need BOTH a file number and UCI number - we don’t have a UCI number for my husband.. also I noticed that the file number for my husband that we got from Vienna is the same as my file number... ?? How did you get your applicants UCI number?

I am advising you as your case little different to contact Vienna as soon as possible to give your husband UCI Cox u need to had it to check his status you should make it shouter and explain to them your situation. I hope they will look at it as urgent.

I requested GCMS notes only with the F number, I didn't have the UCI...but I mailed it because the online link didn't work at the time. We always used the F number as a reference for everything and they responded to that.

Hi - thanks, i just sent them a request for UCI number for my husband.. however who know will they rely since after sending the e mail i got the message: "If your application is within normal processing times you may not receive a reply from the visa office" since the application is within processing times i am not optimistic...

I requested GCMS notes only with the F number, I didn't have the UCI...but I mailed it because the online link didn't work at the time. We always used the F number as a reference for everything and they responded to that.

Maybe it’s different when sending via post, online you must have UCI number and file number... we only have the file number.. I could try sending it via post..its my best chance at the moment

We requested notes online without a UCI number. The field is optional if I recall correctly.

welcome to our "waiting room" I am also sponsoring my husband from BG, and he was also denied a visitor visa. Please don't get discouraged by my timeline, I think we are in the other 20% that take much longer for processing. Anyway, I am hoping it will be over soon as they requested a new medical and a few more doc's.
Congrats on your pregnancy, when are you due? Hope your hubby will be here for the big day.

So im guessing he will be asked to do it again...i just hope they ask for all the things they need soon so i can see that something is going on. So far the last and only thing we heard about our application is that its in vienna, and nothing else after.
Im due march 8th, which does not give us much time for his pprs, but im hoping for a miracle.

Good news from Vienna, my wife got an email from them today requesting her to redo the medical, provide the Schedule A document and new police certificate.

Luckyyy, its good to know that something is being done. I hope she comes here soon

yes, the medical was done before we applied, I think you have to otherwise it would be an incomplete application. The medical expired in Sept 2013, and they requested a new one just last week.
Yes, I requested GCMS notes in july, it takes 1 month to receive them.

I wish i had joined this forum earlier...to find these things out.... I was hearing horror stories from others i was afraid of what i would read on here.
Did u apply online or u sent them by mail??
Days are flying by now like crazy...i dont think he will make it here for the birth of our baby, and im a nutcase hehe....i got of work too, just at the end of the year, i couldnt handle ppl asking me 100times a day is ur husband here....
How are you dealing with being separate for so long?
I think ill be going back home in june, as soon as the baby gets its checkups and shots

Hi - I might have been trying to do it wrong - to access online notes under which act is it done? Access to information act or privacy act - what is the difference between the two??? Thanks!

Hello, i see you have applied around same time as us, have you heard any info from vienna after they have been on strike?
Also, it says on vienna processing time its 13 mnts, does that mean the 13th month will be february? If i understood right it says add the times ..since we applied on jan 21st and then feb is when it got to vienna

I sent the request for GCMS notes by mail and received them by e-mail in just about 30 days.
The separation sucks, we had our share of ups and downs, but it's mostly patience and understanding. We talk every single day on skype and keep in touch all the time so we know what is happening on daily basis. It's really hard especially that he can't come here and for me to go is not so easy, as I have kids from my previous marriage. But we got through most of it and I hope it will be over soon. Just keep positive.
It will be hard without him when the baby comes, that's for sure. I hope you have some other family in Canada to help you out.
