For police certificate, it has to be translated (so it's automatically notarized). You also need to enclose ORIGINAL police certificate (and not a copy of it).

DO NOT SEND COURT CERTIFICATE.

Hi nole73

What do you mean by Court Certificate?

Some countries like mine the "Police Certificate" is actually a ministry of justice document. Police in my country does not produce certificates like these and am sure the same applies for other countries too.

messenger you have to check on CIC web site for your country how they are calling , becauser different country has different name, and they are telling where you can get that ,
SanBen i kniw when the MP asked vienna for my husband process they told his backround is done, we need just to do redo the medical and to wait, and evrybody they told me that is not going to take longer than 5 weeks, doctor told hiom that he send the results, hope to finish soon good luck Sponsor, SanBen , messenger , and mase , hope to get some good news

So, completely out-of-the-blue I just received my COPR. I'm stunned! A happy stunned, of course, but stunned nonetheless.

It says "Not valid for travel" across the whole page, though... Anybody know what that means?

Congratulations!!!! I suppose that means that you can enter Canada but you should wait for your permanent resident card if you want to go in other country and back in Canada

Thank you! Things get a lot more "real" when you actually hold the COPR in your hands, so it's a mixed feeling of joy, excitement and a bit of "this is it" feeling. Hard to describe what's going on in my head right now. :D

I'm not quite sure on how it arrived, since the neighbours accepted the letter.. The letter was the first I learned of it... makes you wonder whether the CIC is really using the potential of information technology to it's fullest effect.

Anyhow, good luck to all of you who are still waiting! It's a nerve-wrecking situation to be in and I hope you'll all receive good news soon!

cgnyyz congratulations all the best now in your life with your love

Congratulations cgnyyz. May you have a happy and productive life in Canada. Enjoy the day!

Hello everyone!

New to the forum but I have been reading this topic for a couple days now. We filed our Outland sponsorship application some time around January 14th ( we hired a consultant for our case ) and received an email the fifth of February saying we received AOR January 22nd! Now I find myself checking Ecas ten times a day, driving myself insane! :P
Anyways I figured I might as well get involved! Good luck to everyone!

Lv.f First i want to welcome you in this forume, and good luck hope your process will be soon over , all the best

Fly, train, Boat, any which way as long as you get there. Hope it wont come to that. Not because you might have a great difficulty with the actual interview but because of the strain of the idea of it and the hassle to be in more expenses to get there!
Dont worry everything will be ok!
Enjoy your day
