sorry, what is AOR Vienna? :o

It means you got a letter of the vienna office saying they received your application and working on it with some info and your client number. Kinda the same as you get from cic before sponsor approval.

AOR stands for "Acknowledgement of Reciept".

Following the approval by the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, your application kit will be forwarded to Visa Office in Vienna for further processing. When the Visa Section of the Embassy receives your full application from the CPC in Mississauga, they create a file for you. An Acknowledgement of Receipt letter (AOR) with your file number will be sent by email or by post to your mailing address.

The spreadsheet looks nice, but the content and PPR stats are pretty pathetic... :o

Well my wife got her AOR after 47 days, on August 7th. I have no idea why it took so long. I can't be happy about it since the pattern we've been having in the waiting times seems to forecast the worst for us.

And after an 11 year marriage, 2 kids and coming from western europe you would think our file would be easy.

Ya its not looking too great >< but the last few people got their prp's in 1-2 months after aor, so that gives me a bit hope. Still im also waiting since 4 weeks for aor from vienna, but im not the only one...wish we all hear good news soon! We seem not to be many compared to other vo's.

And montrealsnow cleaned the spreadsheet! i dont want to mess it up haha. I help on updating if someone got problems to do it themselfs or if i see someone asking :-)

Or better...the last few mostly got their visa's after aor between 1-4 months, thats not too bad but if you count the entire process its really long if you think how long some waited on sponsor approval. Lets hope after our aor's it goes fast and we are in that time range of max. 4 months!!!

yeah Tipha I was thinking the same, but fact that no one from our VO that is on this forum got PPR doesnt sound to promising.

Let's just hope Berlin files or whatever caused delays is now gone, and all the people will get PPR in that up to 4 months time frame

Ya i know what you mean, its been so quiet here and you dont hear of anyone getting a visa or at least ppr yet since months :-( thats really depressing.

Hello everyone, today I sent an application status inquiry email to VO. This is the computer-generated reply I have got:

This computer-generated reply confirms the receipt of your enquiry. Please
do not contact our office again before 28 days have elapsed.......

This is a similar computer-generated reply from the end of 2011:

This computer-generated reply confirms the receipt of your enquiry. Please
do not contact our office again before 12 days have elapsed.
.......

This is a clear proof that they have been extending the processing times...
