I think he was confused as well. But i need to find exact info regarding it. All application guides and form state I have to add my med exam WITH application. Thats why he confused me.

As i've red any additional data is welcome, so for instance even i didn't serve army time, i'm gonna attach my army booklet we have here and statement of my civil service time (translated officialy with stamp etc). Should be sufficiant.

It seems to me that your panel physician is confused between outland and inland processing. For outland - when you go and take the medicals exam, you walk out of the office with a greenish paper, with your picture on it, and signed by the physician, that proves that you have taken the medical exams - that's the one that you send together with your application to prove that your medicals have been done. The results itself go straight to your VO and they "wait" there for your file, once the sponsorship has been approved, your file goes to the VO and it gets matched with your actual medical results..

I agree, the physician has it wrong. This is a common issue if you already are in Canada -- physicians here are mostly doing exams for inland applications and therefore are less familiar with the outland procedure.

He got it wrong, even hes for outland procedures, obviously, cause hes not there, in Canada...
Second thing is that IM 3999 guide (and Part3: Country specific Instructions) does NOT include IMM 1017 - Medical report section A, EDE/EFE.. when I found it on webpage, only downloadable one is EDE, partner IN Canada class...

What form did you take to medical exam then?

Thanks lonely, but how can you differ between 1st medical and second medical? For the 1st it says medical received, but that was 1 year ago...
hey, you are also waiting so long, did they ask from you a new police certificate as well? My husband did his too jujsy a few wekks ago, hopefully they will receive his too soon.

They never asked for anything and it was because they had his email address wrong, we emailed them about it few weeks ago and just last week they asked for his military book...we've been waiting for so long, hopefully he'll be here soon

Lonely 2011 they emailed me too for my husband booklet , and we are waiting for the ministry of defense to send us that letter , and we had to send to Vienna, when did you applied your application

We first applied in Sept 2010 as conjugal partners, it was also before I found this forum so we had no idea how hard is to be approved under that category. After winning appeal in May of this year they sent our application back to Vienna and still waiting.
My husband lost his old military book for his mandatory service in ex Yugoslavia but I think they are more concerned about war in Bosnia in which he luckily didn't take a part, he was able to get certificates immediately and we already sent it to Vienna

my husband wanst at war at all, first we had to find where to aplied for his military booklet , bvecause in my country nevere was war, we find where to applied from Ministry of defense, but in my country they are working slow, today they told to my husband that the mail them that , and we have to mail to Vienna , the embassy told us this is the last thing they need, from us , we had the interveiw and evrythign is all set

Hmm thats weird its not on the downloads, cause when we downloaded and printed the papers, there was one piece of paper to fill out for the medical to take to the doctor (you need to fill out your dates and to which office in canada the medical has to go to), he keeps that and gives you this copy of a form he fills out at the doctor's office, the one we mentioned earlier to send with the papers. Check all of them again, make sure you got the outland application downloads and the right country etc.

I finally got my new visitors record in the mail today! I applied for the extension on Sept. 06 and it was approved on Nov. 27. They gave me until April 03, 2013, so 6 months after my previous one expired. Now I'm hoping that I will get COPR waaay before that.

Yes thats just it, theres is just this Appendix C, its a form that you fill out, just your data and to which CIC office it goes. That you take to the panel physician, he keeps it and you get this other form of him/her after that you send in with your papers. Its the same that i did back in march this year.

Hi Venecan,

it took 82 days to get approved, so almost 3 months. The processing times on the CIC website were at 81 days then which seems accurate in my case. However, the times kept going up every week, possibly because a lot of people are applying for a visitor visa for Christmas. When I applied in September, processing times were 53 days.. so it went up a whole month. (I am talking about the times for submitting the application ONLINE because that's what I did - if you send a paper application it takes more than 100 days right now, I believe.)

I paid $75. The visitor record I had before expired on October 03, but because I send the application before that date, I was allowed to stay under implied status. However, the 6 months they gave me count from the day my old one expired, so from October 03.

When does your current visitor visa/record expire?
