Thanks! We didn't need to send the passport but yes we got the request March 7. So now we're just waiting to get the COPR in the mail.

I am visa exempt so I won't need to send the passport, but as I understand they will ask for a copy... Still waiting for the instructions...

They sent us the instructions before the decision was made on ecas. But yes they requested for a copy of the passport and photos.

my husband had his interview in kosovo on march 7th. the visa officer told him to wait for his passport request and it can take a month to a month and a half.. havent heard anything yet im going to wait until next week to email them

i highly recommend ordering gcms notes.. i figured out why my application was taking so long and it was because the officer wanted an interview and we were in an interview queue since september.. the middle of february i emailed them asking why am i waiting 5 months for an interview and they emailed back with an interview date for march 7th..

the gcms notes really prepared us for our interview the officer wrote a note of our red flag and if we hadnt ordered it from before and have known of this red flag from before we would have never been able to get our gcms notes on time and prepare as they only gave us 2.5 weeks notice of our interview date and gcms notes take 30 days

Since I have write an email on February and they replied that my application is in the process. Can I fill the GCMS notes now or I should wait!!! I don't know what to do!

You can always apply for it if you want to. You will have an overview of your file and maybe the redflags in your application

my COPR came today. I want to warn you, I wasn't at all contacted by cic office, and COPR was sent via registered mail to my home adress in Croatia. Luckily I had a feeling and called CIC yesterday and was told that, so I had to get a friend pick it up from the post office since I am currently in Canada. So NO MESSAGES, NO EMAIL, no instructions, nothing since SA, only thing that happened was mycic update to application approved. COPR was sent the same day... crazy...

Just landed! here is my timeline for reference Im from Netherlands, applied in vienna with outland sponsorship for Quebec, but already in canada with Working Holiday Permit, yesterday I flag poled at the border.

We received your application for permanent residence on August 10, 2016.
We started processing your application on September 27, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

My husband was accepted as sponsor September 21, 2016
I received CSQ December 7, 2016
Decision made, 13 March 2017


I received my CoPR finally the 4th of April, and landed yesterday 9th of April
