1. We received your application for permanent residence on September XX, 2013.
2. Medical results have been received.
According to GCMS notes which we received about a month ago I have passed the medical exam. Therefore I hope Vienna will extend my medical because it will expire in September just like yours. Did you ever request GCMS notes?

Mine is the exact same.. my medicals expired at the start of Aug though and I have not received the request to renew.. my GCMS notes also indicated that it was passed and i have a friend who works for CIC ( not in Vienna but here in Ont.) she says they will not ask me to re-do it ( she could be wrong though).. i hope they do not its such a money grab.

I applied in November 2013, it was 13 months processing time then..
Are you sure?? I've seen people in this forum that finished in less than 13 months, and it was during the 14 month processing time..alekgalorini said:yes it effects everyone... its absolutly stupid!

I don't know what to think anymore. I haven't seen my husband in a year. we've been in process for 9.5 months. I can't wait for this to be over.alekgalorini said:yes I'm sure. And no it doesnt mean that your application will finish in 17 months. it could be done before. It just give them the right until 17 months. And remember these are suppose to change every 3-4 months. so it could go back down. its calucalated by how many applications they rec'd in the last 6 months.

Sorry, that was my mistake, I only recently put the dates in my profile. We applied in October, and the sponsor was approved November 22nd (its been 9.5 months since then)alekgalorini said:hey just noticed. you apllied in August 2013? and you rec'd a document request? how is it you been in process 9.5 months
They just asked for a renewed police certificate, and to update recent activity on one of the forms (update on jobs, school, etc)lalaBiH said:If u dont mind me asking what additional docs did they request?
lol i wish that were the cas ebut i dont think so.. my husbands expired a month ago.. i dont think he will need to renew beause his notes said PASSED but i also dont think it affects processing times.MrsStankovich said:My husbands medical is going to expire soon as well, in about 2 months. I heard that they usually finish before it expires, and if it has to be renewed then it means the process will be over in about a month or so?
