@ JHkhan The interview went great, lasted less than half an hour. I wrote a huge essay about it back then, I don't wanna bore people again All in all, very successful and less stressful than expected! Did my medicals 2 days after, brought a new police certificate to the interview and have been waiting since. Based on nada3's calculation 29 days more to go

Hi everyone.
I would like to join you in waiting. This is our case:
My husband and I have lived in Belgrade / Serbia, I was born here and he is Canadian living with me for the past 8 years.
He applied for spouse sponsorship outside of Canada to Mississauga Jan 24th 2014.
He received an e-mail on Feb 25th 2014 that he is eligible for sponsor and that application had been sent to Vienna from Mississauga.

On March 7th 2014 I received an e-mail from Vienna saying I need to send police certificate, and not the court certificate (my mistake, I had no idea that police is issuing that document). The document supposed to arrive in VO at March 19th 2014. I sent the confirmation request that they received it, and the only thing I got was automatic reply - do not reply before 1 month expires.

So, today I sent it again, meaning that the month had passed since their request for the document.

Hope that helped, so I know I need any possible info to comfort myself in waiting.
*I will fill the spreadsheet with details.

Hi dear KajaH , welcome to our Vienna thread

You did right by sending them another email. I believe your chances of getting an answer back regarding your query about your documents arriving there are pretty good. I did the same last month after sending our requested documents..

Don't worry very much because I am sure that your envelope has arrived there.

Let me ask you something, did you apply outside or from inside of Canada? Seems like it's longer process when applied from the inside.
The strike caught you and slowed down? So far we lost 2 weeks in getting the right document out, lets see what else is there... We didn't have anyone to consult for the whole thing, it took us one year to put it all together. If there's another year of waiting...

Vienna is always outland ;-) Inland applications went through Vegreville and now through Mississauga. I applied outland as well but I am inside Canada. So you can be inside of Canada and apply inland OR outland but you have to be inside of Canada to apply inland. Hope you know what I mean

Aha, got it didn't know that.
We had no doubt for our choice, since we haven't planed going to Canada before me getting PR.
I couldn't get tourist visa, so let's see how PR will go
