We are like a big family here. :-* We're having husbands and wifes, common-law partners, and now expecting a baby :-D from you, dear! :-* It would be nice that your husband is with you, grrr. You shouldn't get stressed anyway! Think positive about little angel. :-* And I hope Vienna will make us happy, maybe tomorrow, who knows. :-* There is no snow in Serbia (even at my town), but I read every day about weather in Toronto. :-D I don't like snow and low temperatures, so -1 degree is too much for me. :-D

And this baby i think likes it inside, im 3 days overdue and still no sign of it coming out
Its negotiating with vienna hehehehehe ))))))


P.s u dont like snow or cold???? Well i hope u get used to it cus sometimes the winter can get crazy here

Yeah you wouldn't believe how rude he was. and afterwards he sent me a rather offensive message. I guess he though I'll be crying my eyes out then I sent him a reply, and it's been going on since this morning. I think he sent me about 5-6 messages. Man....I was laughing and replying. I think I got on his nerve because apparently he has deactivated his account.

It was pointless what he had said on here, and im sure he was very unhappy that noone agreed with him thats why he continued in inbox

Wow a lot happened within the last 24 hours ...

I did not agree with him but I do not understand why so many of you rant against him for posting his opinion. In the initial post which started all this he even started the sentence with "maybe".

Guess this all was a simple misunderstanding.

I ranted and apologize to the rest but it had to be said. Tom told him politely but even his "maybe" is putting the rest of us down in my opinion. He was arrogant and even though he left the forum im sure he is still reading this.

Have you tried Package tracker? http://www.packagetrackr.com/

I send a lot of packages and sometimes when it leaves the country, the local courier doesn't update it anymore. I use that website and it's very helpful. Just type the tracking number and put it on "Auto detect carrier".

Hmmm, strange. Parcel left Canada almost 8 days ago, you paid an extra 40$ for delivery confirmation and still nothing?! Did you try to type your track number on Austria Post tracking system? If you don't get any news today, I would contact Canada Post to confirm that parcel left Canada for sure, and then if they say that it is, I would ask what's going on then. :

Just wanted to share this with everybody on this forum. I have just got Decision Made on my wife's PR application. So DM on both steps. Here's my Timeline for anybody who would like to have a rough idea about timelines:

Sent Application CIC Mississauga to sponsor my wife from Germany to Canada - Dec 3rd 2012
Received first AOR - Jan 3 2013
First Medical - October 22 2012
No answer or status change on CIC website for 1 year
Second Medical - Jan 22 2014
DM - March 10 2014

Hmmm, strange. Parcel left Canada almost 8 days ago, you paid an extra 40$ for delivery confirmation and still nothing?! Did you try to type your track number on Austria Post tracking system? If you don't get any news today, I would contact Canada Post to confirm that parcel left Canada for sure, and then if they say that it is, I would ask what's going on then. :

I tried it through Austria Post as well. Same information. I contacted Canada Post and they say it is too early to investigate.
Never again through Canada Post. Next time I choose UPS.

Just try to enter the tracking number in google. Last week i ordered something from the us with usps. On the USPS not website it said that the item left the country nothing else. 2 Days later the package was at my door. That's when I figured it out. After the item left the US it idemiately became a Canada post package. And i was able to look up the details on Canada post, but not on USPS. Just google the tracking number only nothing else no keywords. The reason why this is happening is because canada post or usps doesn't deliver out of country packages themself. They give it to the post company in that country.
Courrier companies (UPS) (DHL) (FEDEX) are diferrent. They basicaly deliver to door. They're international.

The worst case scenario is that they lost it somewhere between the 2 airports. In this case i wouldn't bother investigating. Just redo everything if you can and they will refund you money as far as i know. They refund as long as the package doesn't arrive in time.



I would try to google it first than giving them a call if you still cant find it there.

I hope it will turn out that it's already in vienna.


And Congrats for all of you that got good news. And i wish for patience and best of luck for whomever vienna didn't answer yet. But keep in mind no answer is still better than a answer that you don't like .

When i sent my wife the additional documents last month i tracked it from calgary to memphis then to france then belgrade-nis. Canada post used to have a partnership with puralator and now i cant remember if its thru fedex or dhl but it cost me $100 to get there in 7 days included the weekend. Wednesday to wednesday delivery and it actually got there a day earlier. They should be able to at least tell you where it went once it left canada. I hope you find it soon and who knows maybe its found its way to vienna. Try emailing them and see if they can confirm that they received it and explain the situation.

Well its kind of an absurd price. Because i just sent an 20kg 4u Rack server (very large Computer). With DHL for 260$ with insurance. And it got to Amsterdam in 4 days. And also a 0.7 kg iptv receiver same size as a rogers box cost me 24 euros from hungary to canada. Got mailed out on thursday and on tuesday afternoon it arrived.

In 13 years since i have been living here i learned never to use Canada Post. And if you go to an authorized retailer of fedex or dhl or ups it wil be a lot cheaper even to use these companies don't go to canada post.
