Hi europe my dear.

It has been a very difficult summer for her and for me. This baby God bless its little soul will be a miracle baby! The many problems that we had faced since the 1st month took away most of the pleasure of seeing her getting rounder. (I shouldn't be complaining really as I took a lot of joy even from this)
Summer is running to an end so hopefully our Honorable lazy VO is going to start working on peoples apps.
How are you been doing. How is your husband. Did he get a job yet?

It is ok god bless little princessyou are right she is really miracle Baby , yeah summer is almost over we didnt have any sumemr this year in Windsor , it was chilly raining , my husband is good thnx for asking , he he is looking for the job , but ist is really hard to find ,the job , and he used to work and it is really hard for him to stay home and looking for jobs, he worked as a plumber in Montenegrio he had his own company

Ha Tom, you think that is the joke of the day? Let me let you in on my situation.

I don't know if you remember the problems I was having with getting my dutch passport but long story short it has been sitting in Washington for about three months because some guy I dealt with in Toronto (Dutch embassy) told me I needed copies of my parents passports, which I gave him, and some type of a document to prove my parents were still dutch citizens when I was 18. Either way, I filed the documents needed to get this said document. The processing time for this is approx 5 months. (Dont even get me started on that). So I called cic yesterday and basically the guy didn't give me any useful information. Just something along the lines of, I am sure they will pick it up and finalize it soon. Thanks dude. It has literally been with them since may. Anyways, 5 minutes later I get a call from Washington, a very nice lady, but she started off with "I am just wondering why your application for your passport has been sitting here for three months". In my head I am like, you tell me ? So I tell her that I applied for that document that they supposedly needed. She asks me why haven't I sent them my parents copies of their passports. I'm like ... Really.... This guy I dealt with NEVER forwarded the copies to them! She goes on and says why did he tell you to apply for that document (the one that takes five months). So I explain how he said I needed to prove they were dutch citizens when I was 18 and she says, if their passports were valid when yours was, that proves it! Which ... I already got that information FOUR months ago and then this guy in Toronto tells me it's wrong info. I swear I am being screwed left, right and center. In my head I am freaking out because what if Vienna has not picked up my file because of my missing passport and it is all because of this A-hole in Toronto. Aaaarrrrghhhhhh. Alright that is enough ranting for today. The lady in Washington said she would try to get it processed as fast as possible. Which is good news. But it put me three months behind in getting a passport.

Vienna doesn't respond very fast. I sent an e-mail on 4th July and they responded on 5th August. Our lawyer re-sent the e-mail to us on 6th August because 5th August was no working day in Canada. So Vienna needed one month to respond on my e-mail. I have different experiences with the e-mails. Once 3 weeks, once 3 days but this time one month. I hope Vienna will respond on your e-mail soon. They responded to all my e-mails that I have sent.

Wow this is really awful dear Lv.f
I just don't understand this it just doesn't multiply in my mind.
The bureaucracy that Canada has become is terrible! Many of us have escaped our own countries to get out of this and we face it more and more in our country of choice. Of course it was never like this years and years ago.
I remember during my stay in Canada from 1980 tom 1990 it was so easy to deal with government services. You only needed a phone call and the next day forms would arrive in your home fill them up and next day your work was done. You never had to deal with voice box systems. You talked to real and courteous people that made sure you get first class service.
It was all very personal and fast.
I've been away from Canada for more than 23 years. I am coming back soon. I know I am in for disappointment. I can taste it already by my dealings with Vienna ;D ;D

I do sympathize with you and I hope all this will be history soon.

This today was just a test. I wanted to see if they will reply on their normail email address and not on the case specific. I seriously doubt that they will respond even on this one. I am just disappointed...very much!

This is exactly what strikes me funny Muby!

Beijing and Manila who are officially on strike are giving out visas right and left. London too is still responding to clients (that's what we are but I guess Vienna does not see us like so) Of course I should never forget to mention Paris who gives visas in less than 4 months.
VIENNA V= Very I= Idiotic E= Embassy N= Not N= Needing A= Attention

There I said it got it out of my system!
Ok. Lets get back to our lives

I just applied in April but I'm really afraid that I don't get the PR before the end of March 2014. That's the time when my work permit expires and my employer got the bad news last week that we don't get any LMO's anymore.

Yes, I can stay in Canada as a tourist but who pays my mortgage and other fixed costs? My common-law partner cannot handle it alone.
I am worried now that I see that nobody with a Vienna application gets PR. :-[

So my consultant did get an email today from Vienna basically saying, we received your application feb 2013 and processing times are as following. GEEZ thanks guys .. Like I didn't know this already ?

I think this was a reply to my consultants email he sent a month ago, but if it wasn't a reply .. It was my second stage AOR. What a joke.

I'm fine. I try to enjoy in the nice sunny weather in Macedonia. I think I'll miss the nice, warm weather here. I meet friends that I haven't seen them long time. The people who moved from Macedonia usually come back in the summer and it's nice to see them. I think Vienna will respond on your e-mail but you should give them sometime. To all forum guys don't forget that now is summer holiday and closing the embassies in Belgrade, Germany and other places are also reason for slow work. The situation before 30 years was different. That period Canada had 24 millions population and today has 33 millions. That means that for 33 years period the population has increased for almost 30 percents. Also today Canada is very attractive for people from different countries. This period is very bad, because Canada tries to solve a lot of problems such as refuge people, fake marriages...

Processing time for Vienna changed to 12 months. Paris and London for example, which are supposed to be on strike, didn't change. I should have applied inland to get the OWP
