First you should find out who is a MP in your municipality then you will find out the phone number. I think you can find everything on internet. We contacted MP's assistant.

Although I do not reside in Canada what you are looking for is not a general thing. Every city-borough province has their own MP's so the MP who is the rep for Brampton is not the same as the one in Ajax
Follow this link and enter your Postal code and the system will inform you of the name, address and phone contact for your MP.

i would recomend to wait little bit more, when i applied i didnt contact MP after 10 months, i started my applications, and i remebred when the MP assistant asked me when did you applied if yuou applied 6 months ago we can not help you , bvecasue it is maximim waiting time 10 month , but you can try and see but you never now if they are going to help you now.

How does it work if when you applied the wait time was 6 months and in the meantime it's 10 or 11 months? A co-worker applied for refugee status and when she applied it was 10 month wait. Now they have made it 22 months. she heard that if you call them or email them before the specified process period that they will find your file and put it on the bottom and your pretty much start from day 1 again. Don't know if it's true and if it is do all officers work that way. Im curious can they check online to see how often we check our ecas and probably see how desperate we are.

I heard that too, somebody told me dont bother to mail VO a lot because they are not goign to reply to the emails and they will make you to waity more, i remeberd when i contacted through email end of september what is goign own with my file, next week they send me the interview invatition , and after we did interview i didnt hera anythign from Vienna ubntil november when i contact MP and they told me that embassy need the military backround, they dont want to be bother i think Vienna Often , they wants us to wait.
every immigration process is changing day to day , we are blessed that we can still wait 10 or 11 months , i heard the procedure is going to be harder and harder every year , because they are so many people using Canada and going to Welfare

Let me disagree on this although i have never seen the inside operational procedures of CIC but through my long stay in Canada and have worked also for a government service I know that employees of such sectors do not simply do as they please. Com'on guys we are not talking for some third world country here. We are talking about Canada and Canadian trained workers.
They are controlled throughout their shift by supervisors who are keeping track of their work performance.
Alas if anyone is doing anything they please just because of personal wish and interest.
I plainly do not believe stories like this and still have faith in the system.
I do of course want them to inform me of my apps status once in a while because to them I am a customer and they should see me a such. This is the only thing that I condemn about CIC services..
Having said that lets just go back to some nice summer stories and maybe some hot gossip ;D to pass the last few remaining days of summer vacation.

Just to get our minds away from checking e-cas and our email inbox here's something I posted today in my facebook

1. This is "Kritamo" a very special vegetable plant grown next to sea and contains natural salt by the sea. In this form it is pickled and can be added into any salad. It smells of iodine from the sea and the taste is excellent. It can be also sun dried and grounded into seasoned salt! A great gift from the Greek seas. My friend Kiriakos Riniou another Greek-Canadian sent it to me by courier from the island of Rhodes

2. This is from Aspa's village in Bogorodica, Macedonia. Her father has grown many kinds of grape vines that produce much needed shade in the yard of the house and quite a lot of ripe and tasty grapes in August. just grab it from the vine run some fresh water and eat! Nice?

its 36 under shade here now. But...You are welcome to visit at any time. The beach with crystal clear water is only 10 meters from the entrance of my apartment building.

Snow is romantic and in the winter time it gives you this feeling. But I guess after a few years you may get tired of it. I too miss snow especially when I am in Greece where there is hardly any of it!
