Europe I'm same like you. I don't like winter. The only good thing in my waiting process is enjoying in the hot summer here.

its 36 under shade here now. But...You are welcome to visit at any time. The beach with crystal clear water is only 10 meters from the entrance of my apartment building.

Hello Tom, how are you and your wife doing? I think I will be going in September to see my wife and we are planning to go to Greece at the end of Sept. If you have any suggestions or experience for beaches and towns? A lot of Serbs go to Paralia but my wife says there are a lot jellyfish there hahahaha. She suggested Hanioti somewhere closer to Serbia to cut down on travel. Calgary has had nothing but rain and thunderstorms can't wait to get away again. I was in Turkey when the great flood happened and lucky it didn't affect our neighbourhood. Just want to sit on a beach and wait for that visa

Hanioti is your best choice indeed. A friend of ours took us to Paralia (Katerini) one week ago and it was full of stupid jelly fish (medusas). The area was full of Serbian and Macedonian people. Especially Macedonians prefer it as being very close to the border. Hanioti Pefkohori is excellent and you will hardly see any jellies there. I would of course (as a Greek) recommend you the beaches of the 2nd leg Sithonia of Chalkidiki (the 1st is called Cassandra). There in Sithonia it's fantastic its like going to the Caribbean. I can recommend you beautiful beaches when you come and you are also invited to visit me here. Our house is by the airport just east of it at a suburb called Peraia only 22km from the center of Thessaloniki and luckily on the road to Chalkidiki. Unfortunately our very wise government had stopped all trains to Serbia. I remember before 2010 the 5pm train from Beograd was full of Serbs and Macedonians everyday.
Now they all have to come either with their own vehicles or by buses. The traffic in Gr-Mac border is unbearable. Thousands are lining in both ways. Spaska's village is the first at the border and because we have to travel there very often to see her family every time I wish to put wings and fly out of this crazy border. 24hrs a day mayhem hahahaha
Sorry there are no ferries from Thessaloniki (I will check though as am not sure) but there are frequent regional buses running to all the points in Chalkidiki on scheduled runs. Nice clean and A/C buses.
The Serbian 1st war cemetery in Thessaloniki is very well kept and the graves are marked if I remember correctly. It's worth making a visit there. I will take you if you come!
September in Greece is very affordable and cheap as the Greeks no longer vacation at that time so there would be many many good offers.
As for ouzo nothing best in a seaside tavern here with nice small fried fish and a Greek salad.

The joke of the day!

Earlier today I decided (what the heck) to email Vienna through their main email address, a small grievance about not receiving any AOR or any reply to my last two communications to them that I made is the past months through the Case Specific portal:
So here is what I wrote to them:

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is xxxxx xxxxx

I am the sponsor of xxx xxxxxx my comon-law spouse and we have filed our application in February 2013 for spousal Sponsorship.

In March of 2013 I was Approved as a Sponsor from CIC Mississauga and since then we had no information as to the whereabouts of our application files.

In May 2013 I made the RPRF payment and had sent the receipt to CIC Mississauga as well as to your Vienna office through the Case specific portal. I never received any reply either from CIC-M or your office except of an automatic reply warning me not to send another email unless 28 days have passed.

My concern is not for the funds, as I am sure they will be eventually acknowledged.

Of course I am not complaining that the time for our application processing is late as we are well within the 11 month processing times.

My grievance is why we have never had a confirmation that our files have made it to your office and they will be eventually processed.
For this reason could you kindly confirm that at least our application package is at your VO?
It will be greatly appreciated!

Hi europe my dear.

It has been a very difficult summer for her and for me. This baby God bless its little soul will be a miracle baby! The many problems that we had faced since the 1st month took away most of the pleasure of seeing her getting rounder. (I shouldn't be complaining really as I took a lot of joy even from this)
Summer is running to an end so hopefully our Honorable lazy VO is going to start working on peoples apps.
How are you been doing. How is your husband. Did he get a job yet?
