The requirement of FSW and CEC is to have the work experience, not the job. Since you already have the experience, and if being laid-off doesn't bring your funds below the required level for your family, then you're okay.
People with LMIA are different because usually having the job (and the associated +600 CRS) was why they got the ITA. But if they, say, loose the LMIA, but still have the CRS score above their draw's cutoff, they should still be okay.

Guys I am January AOR today exactly 4 months . Now bad news is today my company got shut down from investors and every body got laid off. I worked in this company for 2.8 years and now they are giving me 6 weeks of pay which means technically I will be still employed until July 22nd. Will it effect my file.?
Should I notify CIC even I am still employed until July 22nd .

Please reply

Thanks

As you are a non-LMIA applicant, losing your job does not affect your application in any way since you only claimed points for experience gained prior to ITA, hence no need to inform IRCC about anything. The only concern that comes to mind is IRCC contacting the person who wrote an experience letter to confirm the authenticity, and nobody picking up the phone or answering an email. If, however, your eligibility is met, no such inquiry should take place down the line (hopefully).

Thanks everybody..Another question is I always wanted to move to BC I was just waiting for PPR since now I got nothing to do in ON while waiting for ppr Can I just move to BC. I hope that wont affect my application.

You do realize when you made your application you were asked where you wanted to live ???
If you said Ontario, they expect you to land and live in Ontario, not BC. At least for a while...

But that is case for only PNP holders.I am neither PNP nor LMIA. Can't I just send my passport to Ottawa from BCrather then sending local VO in BC.
Thanks
