Dear all,
I have a really urgent question for you guys.
I have finally finished curating and compiling the documents for my spousal sponsorship application. What I thought would have taken a month to do took me 4 months to put together. I wanted to give it the best effort as my spouse is from a low-approval country (India).
Now that I'm one step away from sending it off to CIC, another issue has cropped up - my spouse's police clearance certificate is 11 days away from expiring (I'm counting 6 months as its validity). I'm pretty sure I can send it off in 3 days' time but would that mean I run the risk of being requested for a new police clearance? I'm worried about having the processing time be super delayed as a result. We are considering getting a new one before submitting the package but the process of obtaining one is notoriously convoluted where my spouse is from.
What should I do guys?
