i would like to know what are the chances for canada permanent holders of indian origin get a us visting visa from

canada ?

If you are a new PR (vs. a PR who has lived in Canada for several years), there's definitely a change the US visit visa will be refused. However I don't think anyone here can tell you what the chances are of a refusal vs. an approval.

Well, if you apply within the first 6 months of your landing, it will pretty much be rejected. They look for established ties to the country and if someone is new, he still has to establish contacts/connections/ties here and prove it. If you apply later than that, it is a good idea to get an invitation letter from friends or family(even better), inviting you there.
