If so...I wonder what CIC is going to say about this recent change, with the FBI no longer issuing IHSR on blue security paper?

Just to give a back ground I sent my jan 9th recieved mind last Monday the 13th so ur looking at a good 3 months right now.

February 11? Well at least it's moving. We sent my husband's in at the end of February. I guess we are all in the same boat. I just hate to think something would hold up the process.

Our FBI request was received on Jan 28 and we received the clearance in the mail (Canada) on April 30.

Still waiting on my husband's FBI report which was received January 26th. Hopefully we will get it any day now....
We ended up sending in our application with receipts and an explanation why the FBI report wasn't included.

So its roughly 3 months processing time. What's the duration between when your credit card is charged and when the certificate is actually produced and sent?

We sent it in with a bank draft/money order because we didn't want to take any chances with credit cards.

I think for us it was almost two weeks. The credit card charge showed up on a Monday and the report was sent late the following week.

I received my letter and forwarded it to the CIC at the beginning of April (after submitting the request back in December) - I got an email from the CIC today accusing me of not sending the original from the FBI (which I did).

I wonder if they are not up to speed on the plain white paper being used now? I also didn't have anything to report (no data as I have no record) so the letter was short and sweet. I emailed them and will call next week if I don't hear back.

Anyone else have this happen?

My wife called FBI last thursday, they open the applic from fbrary 8th, we sent our february 14 th,2015.

My credit card was charged on Friday 8 May, our request was received 18 Feb.
