I just checked, and...danawhitaker said:MyCIC just updated to approved for me within the past hour. I've been checking all day, so it JUST happened.
As with the PPR e-mail, I wasn't expecting to see any movement this late in the day. Has your tracking number activated yet? Ours has not.Omegabyte said:I just checked, and...
So did mine!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
CONGRATS!!
I guess Approved today means today they issued your COPR + Visa(if needed), so tomorrow they will post you paperwork and you will see tracking number activation.danawhitaker said:As with the PPR e-mail, I wasn't expecting to see any movement this late in the day. Not yet. I think most of the others from the late January batch said their MyCIC changed to approved, then the CoPR was mailed out the next day.danawhitaker said:As with the PPR e-mail, I wasn't expecting to see any movement this late in the day. I remember one person seeing an update in the afternoon and then the tracking activated around 6 p.m. the same day. Given that mine updated so late, it's hard to know. Was it just a late update and maybe it went out already and the tracking simply isn't active yet, or will it go out tomorrow? I'm not going to worry too much about it, as our timeline for moving this weekend stays intact either way.Omegabyte said:Not yet. according to the website, all that's needed is an ETA if the person has a US green card. see here:prvc said:Hi guys. Just want to ask if you guys know about US Green Card Holders/Legal Permanent Residents needing to apply for a TRV first to visit Canada if they are coming from the Philippines, or would the ETA suffice? Thank you.
my guess is you'll know for sure when she applies for the ETA.prvc said:Yes, I've read that part. Just want to be 100% sure about it. Great. Thank you. +
Yes you can wire and no it won't be taxed. It cost a few dollars, I think it cost 12.00 when I did it. Depends on your bank.2calgary said:hi friends,
Going to get my PR in Canada.
Can I wire transfer funds from my US bank to my spouse Canadian bank as a new PR? Will it be non-taxed?
Thanks
