If yours is already in LA, I REALLY doubt they would spend money to send it back across the border just to be processed. I would be confident that it would stay in LA until they reach a decision :)

...ahem... plus I really hope you're right. ;)

My pleasure ;D It's great to see all the additional contributions come together too :)

I also want to say thanks to OhCanadiana for putting this all together -- it's very useful information. We haven't filed our application yet, but will be doing so soon. I appreciate your hard work compiling everything!

LOL the timing for stage 1 has only changed from Feb 7th to Feb 15th... even after all this time has passed. Shoot me. Shoot me now.

Hey cgagnon.. congrats on the approval! :D :D
Just looked at your timeline. Your file was transferred to LA? How did you hear that? And when did it get transferred?

Thank you!In the sponsorship approval e-mail they said our file was transferred to LA I guess yesterday or today I don't know the exact date it doesn't specify it on the e-mail.

Hey all!

I've avoided the big Buffalo thread because it was a little daunting at 700+ pages.. but catching up on 7 pages here seemed a little easier to bite off :)

I was REALLY freaked out when I heard about Buffalo closing. I had this idea in my head that the processing times would skyrocket and I'd further lose my mind due to stress and anxiety. This thread is like a chill pill. I feel better already! :D

Well, this is maybe good news (I mean besides your obviously wonderful news of sponsorship approval!! ;) :D :D). It means that not ALL files are being sent to CPP-O. Also, my file was sent to LA a month back and I am hoping it stays there instead of moving back across the border.

I know what you mean Sunshine87! The CPP-O news didn't bode well for my anxiety. ??? But this thread does help for sure! There is something really comforting about being in contact with people in the same boat. :) :D

oh man, don't even get me started on anxiety.... sometimes it feels like my head is gonna pop off ??? ??? ??? ???

I have questions about the whole B4 process.
Do you have to own something for 6 months at least before you import it to Canada. What if i buy something in usa today and then move to Canada in a months or 2 months time.
Thanks.

I can now see the positive in us having to wait around 90+ days. I am glad that my file is being transferred after Buffalo announced to close. If they are sending me to LA I hope that it will go fast! I don't know if we will need an interview but LA could be nice to visit for a few days (I sure hope we don't need to though)Now our files won't have to go back and forth back to canada oops back to wherever... This is a mess though some applicants who applied before us might be approved after us etc unless CIC is ready with the tactical team...Let's hope for the best in all our cases...I still have CSQ to do.... Good luck to everyone
