Rec'd them 04SEP2015......August 7th is the last time the case was touched or so it looks....there is nothing about the CIC Dr requesting info..nothing about us asking for info on the 3rd Medical request..The one thing I know for sure is that I don't freak out every day just today...jamsham12 said:When was the last time you ordered notes? You stated the last communication with CIC was July of this year, have you ordered notes since July and if so what does it say?
Why do you think you might need an interview? The chance is pretty low for an American.ashleyac said:Has anyone that is sponsoring an american spouse been asked to do an interview? Why is an interview required? Is there any flexibility with the dates of the interview?
Thanks!
What our GCMS notes and when would i want to order them?jamsham12 said:Have you ordered GCMS notes?
What's your ECAS say? You can order notes to see what your visa officer has done to the application. You can order them for 25 bucks online here: http://www.visafile.info/standard/ (note: that is just one of many places to order them online) or follow this guide to get them for $5: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/latest-caips-gcms-notes-forms-and-how-to-order-t99210.0.htmlInLoveWithAnAmerican said:What our GCMS notes and when would i want to order them?
After being approved to sponsor my wife, i am waiting 4 months to hear something about my wife's part of our complete application.
any advice for us? we are struggling without her having any opportunity.
Hey, can you share your timeline? when did you receive a request for an interview?ashleyac said:Has anyone that is sponsoring an american spouse been asked to do an interview? Why is an interview required? Is there any flexibility with the dates of the interview?

I believe there is no flexibility on the dates once CIC schedules an appointment for interview. I agree with Aquakitty that the chances are low for American citizens.ashleyac said:Has anyone that is sponsoring an american spouse been asked to do an interview? Why is an interview required? They haven't received a request. They are just wondering why it would be requested.CharisseyB said:Hey, can you share your timeline? when did you receive a request for an interview?
I am pretty sure we are not going to get an interview even though I would like to fly to LA from Virginia cause we have been married for 10 years, have alot of ties to Canada!...But so far eveything that we have read has not been our experience including time passing on criminality issues and rehab even what office the application was sent too!!!rugrat907 said:They haven't received a request. In the rare instances that one is requested for a U.S. citizen, it's usually around past criminality issues. I believe that was the reason in Sunset's case, even though rehabilitation had been completed. The other reason I suppose it could happen would be a very VERY questionable relationship, but for U.S. citizens there's a lot more leeway because there is little economic benefit of moving to Canada (in terms of opportunity) for someone from the U.S.
Haha your in Virginia? Same here . I am assuming your application is taking so long because of the rehab/criminality issues which is why your file was transferred to LA?Sunset0505 said:I am pretty sure we are not going to get an interview even though I would like to fly to LA from Virginia cause we have been married for 10 years, have alot of ties to Canada!...But so far eveything that we have read has not been our experience including time passing on criminality issues and rehab even what office the application was sent too!!!
I thought you had an interview too, beyond having the file go to LA. Yeah...I would think that if after all this time, they would have already requested one if you were going to have to do it. But you are a trend setter...Sunset0505 said:I am pretty sure we are not going to get an interview even though I would like to fly to LA from Virginia cause we have been married for 10 years, have alot of ties to Canada!...But so far eveything that we have read has not been our experience including time passing on criminality issues and rehab even what office the application was sent too!!!

I just looked at the Ottawa spreadsheet at other April 2014 applications and your MP seems to be misinformed. Most of them had DM by August 2014!Sunset0505 said:.
lol....We may just get an interview....what I know is I know nothing!!!...The MP told us that all of the cases in Apr2014 went to LA...I have no clue if this is true or not but I have it in writing!!!
I was looking at the Apr 2014 Outland Applications...whole lot of blank spaces under DM...and seriously ....we were also told our application was in Ottawa in March 2015 at that point the file had not been touched for 7 months.. so when I read that CIC is not going to out and out lie to people I find that hard to believe and all I can say is thank goodness we have all this in writing...Panamai said:I just looked at the Ottawa spreadsheet at other April 2014 applications and your MP seems to be misinformed.
