I got two copies of my COPR (that you need to take to the border when you land) along with a letter that has instructions on what to do. One copy of the COPR had one of the photos that I had sent in with my application attached. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info! Now just waiting for the mail hopefully within the week then.

I'm a March applicant and we hadn't received SA yet so my wife (she's the sponsor) called today. Sounds like all is good; she said the application was in Ottawa, so I'm assuming we got SA and someone just messed up and forgot to note it in the system...she said it was odd there wasn't more in the system for SA and she didn't outright say we had SA, but I'm assuming it wouldn't be in Ottawa if all wasn't OK and the person was pretty positive sounding on the phone. She said we'd get an email from her within three days.

What I actually found more interesting is that as my wife started with our story, the agent said they were working on applications from January 24. So I think she thought my wife was asking about the PR application, not the sponsorship part, until my wife corrected her. I thought I would post this information since there has been a lot of wondering about some January applicants getting final approvals before people from the last quarter of 2014.

That's what it sounded like from what my wife told me, although I wouldn't testify to it. But I don't know what else that January date she quoted would mean....

I'm a March 2015 applicant and mine is In Process at CPC-O. :/

Anyone knows how long does it take to go from "In Process" to "Decision made"?
Many thanks in advance.

The Jan 24th is for 2014 INLAND applicants:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

Yes, Ottawa is also processing OUTLAND Jan 2015 applicants, giving DM's and they're receiving their CoPR's. Yes, it stinks for those of us OUTLAND who are left untouched from 2014.

I would assume a couple weeks unless additional documents are requested.

I mean its sounds about right, there have been a few Jan 2015 approvals last week along with a few Dec 2014 in the past 2 weeks which would explain the timeline, but once again I feel for the sept, oct applicants... smh

Thank you. I never check the inland times since I'm outland. Excellent clarification, and makes me wonder if there's still an issue with our application getting misfiled since she mentioned that date. Guess I will find out soon enough.

Anyone have any tips for getting through on the Call Centre line? I've tried dozens of times in the last couple weeks and have NEVER been put through to an agent -- just get a recording "We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls." Today I've tried several times at minutes past 8 a.m. local time, at which the website says they are available, only to get the same recording. I just need to know whether they've attached to our file the copy of my spouse's FBI check results, submitted a week ago by 3 different methods, along with proof that they received the original in January. I submitted a complaint about the Call Centre via the link on the website, and got an acknowledgment that THAT had been received! How long could it possibly take for a document to make it from the Mail Room onto the desk of our Visa Officer?! Or did they put our file on the bottom of a pile when they sent the email requesting we send the FBI check results -- which we had already done FOUR months ago? The incompetence and inefficiency of this department are breathtaking!

It took my wife about 45 minutes altogether this morning...she also started at around 8 and got the busy message the first few times, then got through and was put in the queue. I suspect first thing on a Monday is one of the busiest times to try.

Gotta ask a stupid question, not up on all the lingo, but what is AOR, sorry for my ignorance. Thank you all
