Great. So hopefully he gets the wonderful new from the CBSA officer at the border. He will tell them that he is coming to visit me and when we receive the COPR, we will do our landing. Is it possible for him to "land" without importing his truck over right away? Can he still "land", bring his truck over and go back later to officially import it?
Hey - you may want to join the conversation at http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/got-copr-landing-questions-and-vehicle-concerns-t136260.0.html;msg2106801#msg2106801 with exactly this discussion. Don't hesitate to ask further questions specific to your case :)

Hi everyone, I was reading other posts and noticed that I may have answered a question incorrectly on one of my forms.... I am absolutely worried now about this decision made. E-CAS sais Decision made but we have received nothing yet. no e-mails, no mail. Form 5490 question 27, my common-law husband and I said no because we are not officially allowed to move our stuff together and live together. Did I make a mistake by saying no? He was actually "living" with me from May 2011, going back and forth to the US. He would go back to the US every 2 to 3 months for a couple of days and come back. OMG.... Did I really screw up with this question? Would the VO officer not give us an opportunity to explain our answer.... I really hope I didn't screw this up....

Technically, yeah, it should be a yes. The good news is - VOs usually ask for a corrected form. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If they were concerned, they would've contacted you. I'm sure they see lots of people that put "no" for visiting because the foreigner 'can't live here.'

(If you weren't visa exempt, I might be a little more worried, but you're not. Your husband admitted to visiting all those times right?)

Thank you for the re-assurance. Every time he came across the border he told them he was coming to visit..... Yeah...i'm going to think positive and I agree that it would make sense for them to contact me if they were concerned...... thanks again.....

My birthday was yesterday, but I got my present today...my husband's COPR!! Cool Grin It arrived in the mail.

I am simply delighted. Just over 6 months since they received our application - that is pretty slick. I am officially impressed with CPP-O. They must be doing something right!

Sending good vibes to everyone who is still waiting!

We put no for the same question and had no problems. I wouldn't worry about it honestly I'm pretty sure you have a COPR in the mail =)

I went and got my SIN thingy today, next up is care card and an ID. My wife has to drag me to these places because I hate sitting there for an hour to do something that takes 5 minutes lol We were suppose to leave at 10am today and get a bunch of stuff done and ended up leaving at like 3 because I procrastinated for so long.

Got this email yesterday, the just of it is:In order to continue processing your application, the following is required:

Ø Additional Family Info IMM5406: A separate and newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) bearing original signatures This must be received at this office by: 05/06/2013

Ø FBI Clearance: If your residence period in the USA has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original FBI clearance certificate Visit: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/background-checks/submitting-an-identification-record-request-to-the-fbi This must be received at this office by: 05/06/2013

Ø COPY OR SCANNED IMAGE of your passport and passports of your accompanying family members, as noted below.

2 Questions:

Does it do any good to dispute the FBI clearance? I have proof they rec'd it prior to the expiry date. Proof being it was signed for in Ottawa about 10 days before it expired. WHY do we only get 60 days when the FBI states "processing times may take approximately five to six weeks depending on the volume of requests received." Gee, that gives me about the SAME amount of time to get CIC what I did before!

When IMM5406 asks for Changes to your Family Composition:
· Have you married or divorced?
· Have you given birth or adopted a child?
· Do you intend to get married or divorced prior to becoming a permanent resident?
· Do you intend to give birth or adopt a child prior to becoming a permanent resident?
· Has your sponsor withdrawn his or her sponsorship of your application?

If any of these conditions apply, you must inform CPP-O immediately. You will be asked to submit evidence such as a copy of the marriage, divorce, birth or adoption certificate or a letter advising when and where the marriage, divorce, birth or adoption is expected to take place. Any new spouse and/or children must be added to your application and be found admissible to Canada before your case is finalized. Failure to declare additional dependants such as a spouse or children before you become a permanent resident could result in the cancellation of your permanent resident visa.

I didn't let them know we got married, they found out when I sent the marriage certificate, with my application!

So, I have to send the marriage certificate again? AND put my Canadian hubby and step-daughter on IMM5406? They're not "accompanying" , they're Canadian citizens!

I'm so confused. But going to get fingerprinted this morning.
