Today I called IRCC. The agent told me she can see my request for urgent processing on the file. She said my background check is completed and I am placed in the queue for the citizenship test. Is this good news? Should I be waiting for a test invite any minutes now?
On a different note, a month ago, when I called IRCC, the agent confirmed that my urgent processing request was accepted. Today, the agent said she can not answer whether my request is accepted or not.

Sent an urgent request 3 weeks ago and received an email that they have forwarded it to the local office. Does that mean they accepted it or it is a generic response?

Edit: Got my answer from previous posts. Just a generic message they send to everyone.

Hi. What did you have in your interview?
This information is public and this was before covid and I believe they are still doing the same for some applicants.

After the test: result, interview and next steps
After the test, you’ll meet with a citizenship official for an interview. During the interview, the citizenship official will:

  • give you the results of your test, if you had one
  • check your language skills, if you’re between 18 and 54 years of age
  • verify your application and original documents
  • ask any questions we may have about your application
  • make sure you meet all the requirements for citizenship
If you pass and meet the other requirements for citizenship, we may:

  • give you a ceremony date at the same time we give you the test results or
  • email or send you a letter with the date and time of your ceremony
