Urgent: Incorrect PCC issued by CGI

saruyashi, did you go in person to CGI?

The reason why I am asking is because I called CGI and they asked me to come in person an wait for an hour to get the PCC with the correct passport date of issue.

By "date of issue", I meant the passport date of issue and not the PCC date of issue. Did you have the same problem?

They did mistake in my Last name. As I am not in Toronto, I was unable to do in person. I done my correction through post.

Did you apply for PCC in Vancouver? According to the CGI Vancouver website, the PCC should be issued within 10 working days (as I think what happened in your case), but when checking the vfs website, it mentions that the PCC in Vancouver will be issued in 4-6 working weeks, which is even longer than getting the PCC directly from India.
Please reply as I was thinking of applying in the Vancouver office.

1 more question. I might apply for my birth certificate too when I apply for PCC. Just wanted to know if you went through vfs or did you go directly to CGI?.... and If you went to CGI, did you apply for both PCC and birth certificate?

scanadap, if you want to apply for both PCC and DOB, visit CGI. Only PCC, visit VFS.

It is $28 each. If it is just for you, buy 2 expresspost return envelopes, one for PCC and one for DOB.

Note: Make sure you write the FROM address of CGI on the return envelopes.. I forgot to write the "From" Address on the return envelopes. When I received the package, I found that neither did CGI write the FROM address and Canada post told me that if I am not @ home to receive the package, they will not understand to whom the package needs to be returned and it might be complicated sometime.

in the application form they wrote 20 + 2 = 22 CAD
When I called them they are saying 28 CAD

Which one is Correct.
I have total 4 odcuments need 2 PCC and 2 DOB = 4 * 28 = 112 CAD or 22 * 4 = 88 CAD I have to take DD for
