When this checklist was changed? I sent my application on 6th Nov and this was not there at that time. NOC code is not mentioned on my reference letter. Will this have any impact?

they never mentioned in the past to add noc code on reference letter. @ op, thnx for the info. very interesting. guess paystubs are now very useful piece :)
Well my reference letter are old and it's immpossible to ask HR to add them now ..any way I mailed my applications today

I resubmitted my application yesterday (with all new forms and updated reference letter). However, I forgot to blackout the SIN information on tax documents. I'm assuming it wont be a big deal. Would it? :(

Gladaki, what does "up-to-date letters of reference" mean?
They mean you need to have reference letters from companies till the date
You worked. Or atleast till the date you are applying if I left company on 12 dec 2012 then my expeice should be till 12 dec 2012 doesnot matter if it's issued on 13 th 2012 and I use it in 2014. Correct me if I am wrong ?

I do not know wwhether you are correct or not.

I am just bringing your attention to this as you have had enough of troubles.
Yeah thanks for that ...it's just hard to ask those employers to add NOC now..
And last exp letter as I updated the new letters are issued in August 2013 ..thanks again

They only have to add the NOC to the letter if your employer knows the NOC.

Any thoughts on this one? I'm getting a little worried. I hope this would not be a problem. Totally missed that note in the checklist to blackout the SIN number.

If I'm not mistake, you've already submitted your application yesterday or the day before.
In that case all you can do is wait. But IMHO this shouldn't be a problem.

They advise u to do that for your security. Its not mandatory. Only imp thing which you should be worried on initial stages that
you signed and filled all the forms, and it has all needed documents which are mention in checklist..

Hi there everyone,

So I am in the process of sending off my application tomorrow. Re-submitting as I've had a refusal previously but I have two questions please:

1.Question 6d on the IMM 5669 form asks if you have ever been refused a permanent resident visa to which I have indicated yes and attached a note along with the refusal email indicating why. Do I need to provide anything more?

2. From reading the instruction guide re: IELTS it states that you are allowed to submit a copy if you already submitted the original if sent after June 26 2010 and also if the original test results were not returned to you. Do I also have to provide a note indicating this?

Thanks in advance.

- No, that's all you need.

- If I were you, I would attach a note referring to the point on the document checklist, just to make sure the VO is aware of that rule.

Thanks in advance.
