Is UOIT good?... It is not even in the rankings... What was your reason to apply to it?..Kvrv said:
Carleton and Ottawa do share the Cs department... yeah you can keep option... vice versa with Carleton and Ottawa..
But I observed in my application that after Carleton rejection, within a two week gap, I got rejection from Ottawa....
Mine are - Victoria, Ryerson, Manitoba, besides the above two!....
UOIT I previously got acceptance from professor for my final year internship and den masters with funding. Due to some circumstances I couldn't make it to internship. Now I am afraid whether the faculty will once again look into application or not The faculty profile is good.. She did her PhD from Waterloo and has some patents in communication systems. It's all about the faculty profile in research work. So no matter what university it is if faculty profile and our research work is good we can develop ourselves
Do you guys think there's a chance someone will get admitted to University of Manitoba with a 6.0 Band IELTS??
The minimum requirement is 6.5, but I'm just wondering if sometimes they might make an exception? Or any university as a matter of fact that might make slight exceptions to some Language Requirements?

I think language requirements could be compensated with work experience or a valid certification on English related tests..Helina93 said:
Regarding Manitoba with 6.0, yes you do stand a chance if your other credentials is great!... Try attempting IELTS again... You can send the results later too..
Ohh this isn't my IELTS score, I was inquiring for a friend. He wanted to take it again but the next available date would be in July and it would be very late.
My overall band is 8.5
But so far I got accepted to MUN and I'm waiting for a reply from Manitoba before I decide, because obviously Manitoba is a better choice.

even i applied for the u of manitoba msc in pharmacology on jan 28th..i got a mail on feb 17 th stating application is complete and is under review in the department.
waiting for the result .
HERE IS MYPROFILE 10TH-80% PLUS 2-86% AND B pHARMACY -61%
IELTS-7 BANDS...what is th university actual percentage dat university would consider? do i have any chance

i jus mailed the admission people regarding the instructor or professor .they have told me like its not mandatory.
But they told me like only 4 seats will be available depends on the application we vl let u know ....But am not sure whetlher really onlthe dey 4 seats are available or more than dat..

no I haven't got any mail but for my course having an acceptance from professor is mandatory. So my application is mostly a rejection. when did u apply ? its takes some around 4-6 weeks once the application has been forwarded to dept.
