University admission deadline!!!!

hi guys,

i am international student and i am studying in one of the Ontario colleges. i came in january 2016 intake. my course is a 8 month course ending up in august 2016.

i need answers of following questions.

1 - if i want to get into university of ottawa for september intake then which application deadline will apply for me. international student or canadian
student?

2 - if the international deadline apply then i am late because it is 1 march 2016 for sept intake. however if i want to apply for january 2017 intake.
will they consider my study of the diploma and provide me credits for it?

3 - or will they wont consider my study and consider it as a gap and wont provide me offer letter?

Most likely they will still consider you International student for application purposes. Emailing the program contact to confirm doesn't hurt. Sometime, they may make exceptions - you can indicate that you wouldn't have to wait for Visa and so on as you are already in Canada (it is a long shot-but worth a try)

2 - if the international deadline apply then i am late because it is 1 march 2016 for sept intake. however if i want to apply for january 2017 intake.
will they consider my study of the diploma and provide me credits for it?
-Depending on if the course is relevant to your chosen area of study and if they have a transfer program in place to transfer credits. If the program is related though (and the grades are good), it may strengthen your application.

3 - or will they wont consider my study and consider it as a gap and wont provide me offer letter?
- As long as you can provide some evidence of what you were doing during the time, it is not considered a gap

B.TECH Electrical and Electronics - 67.4 % (2015)

5 month experience with Ericsson global india services (april - september)

currently pursuing a diploma in electronics engineering technology from one of Ontario colleges, Canada from january 2016

applied for september batch in university of ottawa.

will i get the offer letter

L 8.5, R 8, W 6, S 6.5 (university requirement fulfilled)

Obviously you should mention your current education . is there something to Hide ?
just a point of caution - You wont get far with Hiding facts in this world

If its a legitimate institution I dont see why they wont consider your education .
and If your overall profile satisfies their criteria of acceptance ,they would hardly bother about your Gap unless its a huge one

yeah it nothing to hide but the concern is to justify the action of taking admission into diploma at first and then applying for the university in the SOP.
